Do you run antivirus on your phone?
 

Teaforone's thread with the malware link made me wonder if I should be running some sort of security software on my phone. Is it necessary, and if so, what is the best for android?

The Anti Virus apps for phones do not 100% protect from Viruses and Mallware and they can never really do that, because they do not have access to the 'core' of the phone. All the apps are 'sandboxed', including the AntiVirus, so they are pretty useless.

i havent seen a virus for blackberry's yet :2 cents::2 cents:

I use skypee android version 4.0.....at least it does not make the celll slow and quite effective.....
