i said a hip hop the hippie the hippie
to the hip hip hop, a you dont stop
the rock it to the bang bang boogie say up jumped the boogie
to the rhythm of the boogie, the beat
now what you hear is not a test--i'm rappin to the beat
and me, the groove, and my friends are gonna try to move your feet
see i am wonder mike and i like to say hello
to the black, to the white, the red, and the brown, the purple and yellow
but first i gotta bang bang the boogie to the boogie
say up jump the boogie to the bang bang boogie
let's rock, you dont stop
rock the riddle that will make your body rock
well so far youve heard my voice but i brought two friends along
and next on the mike is my man hank
come on, hank, sing that song

'88 for me toooooo.....and Catholic school? haha....I went to Catholic school up until grade 10. We moved from Toronto to Vancouver and my mom wanted me to go to a catholic school here called 'The Little Flower Academy'.....well....needless to say I threw a fit and...well....she gave up and I ended up going to the public school around the corner from my house. :1orglaugh

Know what though Amber? Catholic school was wayyyy 'rougher' than public in my experience. I was scared going to public school for the first time, but it turned out I was wayyy more experienced at being a 'bad girl' than any of the friends I met there....hehe

Catholic School Girls ROCK! :thumbsup

1985...
Back then, rap was just becoming about and alot of people thought it was shit music.

Thou..I still jam out to Motley Crue, AC/DC, Whitesnake and others..lol

Anyone remember the one hit wonder...the 2 brothers that formed "Nelson"?
How about Minli Vanilli...the 2 scam artist?

lmao....

eroswebmaster 02-13-2003 01:16 PM

I actually graduated in '85...just like the song Fight the Power :)

Some concerts I attended during that time:
Billy Idol
Howard Jones
Starship
Outfield
Mike and the Mechanics
Duran Duran

There were others, but some of these are bad enough to admit to...LOL

AM Jeff 02-13-2003 01:20 PM

Yup..forgot Duran Duran.

My first Gf was a catholic schoolgirl.
She was a fucking nympho from hell.

I can remember times we fucked so much in a days time.
It would get hard and was just numb.
She's sit on it and ride away while I watched T.V.
No joke either..lol

Dated her for like 3 years.

Damn..I wonder what ever happened to her?
last I heard, she was a Prof at Indiana State Univ.
Would be nice to have her around now..lol

Damn..the good old days.

1985 Woooo!
I've was helping my parents out today delivering flowers for their flower shop, and had to take a delivery to my old HS. I hadn't been there since I graduated.
I felt so fucking old.

cyberpunk 02-13-2003 01:50 PM

Class of '89 here!

dig420 02-13-2003 01:50 PM

84

I hated the 80's with a passion. Ronald Reagan was President, kids were just saying no and Twisted Sister was considered heavy metal. Bon Scott got me thru it alive, god bless AC/DC.

I don't think our culture woke back up til Nirvana came out.
