The interesting part is going into court while already being on notice that you're breaking the law. Typically, when someone is charged with a crime and stands trial for it... they stop doing that thing. Few things can screw a person faster in court than being 100% unrepentant..

Great post. So far no one has come up with a better alternative to prison and keeping them away from society. you can train criminals all you like. Doesn't mean they will go out and get a real job when free.
Stats show some people on bail or just released will re offend. Seems the punishment isn't hard enough.
