as of today, ryan is the presumptive nominee for 2016. When the teeth of obamacare kick in, & everyone is forced to buy health coverage from 3 price gouging insurers, paul ryans so called extremism today will look attractive for an electorate hungry for change.

no matter. assuming obama wins, he will own whatever the economy looks like in 2016. Given the government has done nothing over 4 years to resolve the structural unemployment situation (only temp measures like stimulus, tax cuts & unemployment benefits) The indies will have nowhere else to go, except the republican nominee.

there are a number of reasonable reforms. The boogy man in the law is that health care oligopolies, in pharma, in insurance, & in hospitals, continue to prosper & price gouge & bend the laws to their benefit. Shouldn't this health care law have had a public option?

the law was passed to control costs in health care, & in the end the CBO finds no deficit reduction coming from this law.

so...hopefully the economy continues gradual improvement in the coming years & is able to defuse the deficit, which will be a lead anchor in the next cycles. otherwise the dems got nothing but fear to run on in 16.

Blame the obstructionists. A public option would have been best but it would have never passed. Sometimes you take what you can get if its better than nothing.
