I'd say there's a few random areas on the ground in which the surface dust has been slightly scuffed off via atmospheric turbulence (wind).

Awesome discovery, we can go the fuck home now and return the 2 billion to the tax payers, we've discovered wind.

I like a good blowjob... But $2B worth?

images from another world and it amazes me that we are not all just completely in awe by the spectacle. Our collective sense of adventure and curiosity seems to dwindled.

We already saw the surface of Mars back in 1990.

Total Recall

This is the real reason we've gone back.

Yeah, sure, why not?

Where do you think that money was spent? How many thousands of people did it employe over the past ten years, from the planning to the engineers to the outside contractors who built it? It's not like we spent $2 billion and it went into someone's pocket. It employed not only thousands of people over a long period of time, plus it helped to keep entire businesses who were contracted to build parts of the project afloat when it was needed most.

Phillipmcd1 08-10-2012 08:16 AM

Looks like something they faked to get billions. That darn mohawk guy!

helterskelter808 08-10-2012 08:40 AM

Imagine how many banks we could bail out with that money.

But one thing's for sure - none of the rocket scientists here on GFY saw any of that $2 billion. :1orglaugh

Yeah, just imagine - the bank CEOs would be guaranteed their multi-million dollar 'performance bonuses', golden parachutes, expense accounts...ad nauseum.
