Best Performer Ever?

I never was a huge Queen fan but Feddie was fucking impressive...

Coup 08-09-2012 04:16 PM

Their performance at Wembley stadium was the best performance by any musician(s) ever. IMO.

Nothing I've seen has ever come close.

It's definitely a toss up between Rob and Fabrice.

mikesouth 08-09-2012 05:28 PM

Arguably the best Rock and Roll front man ever.

jimmycooper 08-09-2012 06:53 PM

Perry Farrell (on Heroin)

Michael Hutchence

AllAboutCams 08-09-2012 07:03 PM

SilentKnight 08-09-2012 07:30 PM

lol. we all have our embarrassing guilty pleasures.

Mine are Enrique Iglesias...

..and Katy Perry.

I was at this show. Hadn't even heard of her until seeing this world class performance.

I've been a fan ever since. Even after the ecstacy wore off. :thumbsup

No bullshitting, I saw Milli Vanilli live in concert and they put on an amazing stage show...

Of course, they were lip-syncing, but the dancing and the show was awesome!

You know... Years ago I saw Rick Springfield at a free concert at a county fair. I would have never paid money to see him but he put on a great fucking show.

rhon23 08-10-2012 08:20 AM

I have seen many shows live but the one that sticks out in my head the most is Dave Gahan on a solo tour. The guy just commanded the audience. Depeche Mode the same thing.

And I'll bet you still crank up the volume for the guitar solo in Jessie's Girl, right? :winkwink:

Not me. No way. Uh-ahh.

(okay...maybe sometimes)

Cyber Fucker 08-11-2012 07:06 PM

Yeah, he was da man. Always liked him in no homo way.

leg4 08-11-2012 10:24 PM

The Purple One.

garce 08-11-2012 10:36 PM

Freddy WAS awesome. Elton is not bad, either... Come to think of it, a LOT of the performers from the late '60's - early '70's gave more than what was asked whe they hit the stage...

Joplin... Morrison... Hendrix... Zappa... Alice Cooper...

There were no music videos or MTV way back when... Just live performances...

Janis is up there:

Janis! Untouchable! I have tears in my eyes right now after listening to this...

So young. So talented. So pointlessly dead...

I am a huge fan of the 1980s bubble gum pop crap. Tacky as hell, but I love it.

Your "choices" are irrelevant. I'm going to go kill myself now because of you... Or maybe I'll just go upstairs and make myself a sammich...

Enrique Iglesias? I must be missing your sarcasm. You can only sing so may "down" songs otherwise people nod off. Do you know what I mean?

Sir Elton - maybe the greatest male rock vocalist and performer in the history of Life, The Universe & Everything.

I'm going to add this video, too...

For shits and giggles... RiffRaff FTW! I'd like to propose a toast!

The gay quintumvirate! Yup, here's Freddy... Ooo, you makin' me live...

You're my sunshine...

What the hell... A few more faggots. THEN I'll eat a sammich...

Old James - You Got A Friend. The most pure voice in the history of music:

Yeah, yeah, yeah...

Sid Vicous - He did it his way. Oops!

Marylin Manson. Faggot? Please? Look at him... Jeez!

A little more modern, a little more "hip", I turn to African-American faggot Cee-Lo Green.

Fuck you.

As much as I'd like turn GFY into my personal radio station (Done!) I'm feeling peckish. Fuck you - and fuck her, too.

Bonus Faggot! After all is said and done, you gotta move while its still fun... I wanna walk before they make me run...

I wasn't looking too good but I was feeling real well...
