Try a brand new keyboard. had a similar problem a few months ago. My would make the window go crazy. Must have been a dirty key.
Last week the mouse was double clicking. New mouse, no problem.
Dirt, dust, spills & just wear out. They're only good for a couple of years. Might be something else, but if you have no light, change the light bulb first. Then worry about the wiring.
If you never turn off your computer, that could be the absolute simplest answer.
These may sound childish, but we all overlook the obvious at times.
