I am finally going to start a web site & need hosting. Some how I lucked out and HostGator & Just Host didn't spot my earlier attempts.
Hosting with CPanel would make life easier for me.

Looks like a meeting of the GFY Old Bastard Society. What's the minimum age? I think i may be eligible for membership soon or maybe even now. I think it should be 50 but maybe it's 45 or even 40.

No i asked the 2 best guys on GFY, as everybody else says use XYZ, then there's a bunch of posts saying XYZ is crap. Figured two successful guys know the score.

You don't like L-Pink because as much as you'd like everyone to forget your past, he remembers it and makes sure others are aware as well. That does not make him a POS but it makes you one for posting what you did without providing the back story.

Thanks for asking but there are tons of people around here better suited to answer this for you.

I haven't actively shopped for a host in years and don't know who's competitive or who has the best service. The company I've used gets trashed here on a regular basis even though I've never had a problem. When I ran a search engine and was making crazy money as one of "goto's" biggest partners I used a friends company that is no longer around. Hostgator or baddog sound like they can get the job done for you.

I hope your site does well for you. Do it right, get your feet wet, keep at it.

Hey L-Pink, hear Marion is spending $100's like he's printing them.

Hostgator allow porn I have used them for the last 4 years for porn and their support has been very good. I had one of my sites hacked and they helped me no end. They went as far as tracing the IP for me and I ended up contacting the guys ISP and sending them all the evidence which hostgator provided. They have also helped me with purchased script issues which is really nothing to do with them, but they still helped. Their uptime is also very good. I use to also have a VPS server with them which I had no problems with. I cant say what thier dedicated servers are like, cause iv never used one from them but for small sites they have been very good with me.
