Photographers Help needed?!

I am looking for entry level camera and i was looking at nikon d3200 nikon d5100 canon 600d or can you give me some other suggestions? I am totally noob when it comes to this stuff, so all suggestions are welcome.

600D is not a bad camera. I own it. If you?re getting one for video too, realize the 600D doesn?t have follow focus. I think they added it to the 650D.

the camera is the most irrelevant thing you can consider at this stage.

1st is your skill, learn to operate it manually, learn to envision a photo and then create it. learn about DOF and exposure and aperture and color temp

2nd is your lighting

3rd your lenses

finally...your camera.

Do you think you can go to home depot, buy an expensive hammer and call yourself a carpenter?

Im not at all worried about you taking my "bread" Im giving you good advice. If all you want is a point and shoot, which sounds like the case there are dozens of 100 dollar models that will do a fine job, just pick any name brand, look for optical zoom and there ya go.

Wolfy

If you have a store nearby that sells these cameras go to it and handle them. Buy the one that feels the best in your hand. The one you can easily manipulate the settings. That?s really all that matters. They?re all good cameras and about equal in quality.

the Nikon d3200 is the way to go... 24 mgp, video, wirelessd etc... get the kit, read the Emanual and have a great fucking time... after ya get a bit better buy some GREAT glass and go from there :thumbsup

BUT a used d3 would be the BEST way to go.. and the 24-70 2.8... you might get a used setup for 5K
