We did send out an email to accounts that have not completed all the required verification steps.

It seems a few people who have compelted them got the email in error. If you have a question about your account email me [email protected]. Please include your paxum account ID.

Thanks

Take it up with the U.S. Federal government and Patriot Act. That is the "why" it must be done in the first place.

I'm sorry, our system seems to have sent out some emails in error. Please login to your account and double check that your status is still verified. If you see any notes when you login then yes we need documents, but I'm guessing everything is fine with your account and this is simply an error. I'm very sorry for the confusion.
I also have the RedPass are they have issues also ? haven't try it yet

Got the same email, complied even though I thought I was solid already.
Reading it was an error confirms it.

Paxum rocks regardless.
Shit just happens sometimes.

NaughtyRob 08-02-2012 09:10 AM

I got the email saying that my ID expired and they need an updated one. While I don't agree that they need an updated unexpired ID to prove who I am I uploaded it anyway because I love Paxum.

We recently changed our verification requirements and some previously verified accounts have been asked to upload new documentation that is compliant with our verification rules.

Some notices were sent in error, however many were accurately sent.

If you received an email from Paxum requesting you upload new verification documents, then it is important for you to please login to your Paxum account and visit My Account>>Overview (the first page displayed after you login).

Take a look at the main section of your account there, toward the top.

If you see any notice there that begins with:

"Our records indicate that your profile needs to be updated. Please submit."

(followed by a list of whichever document(s) needs to be updated)

then yes you DO need to please upload new verification documents (as stated) before September 13th 2012 to ensure there is no service interruption.

At all times, all Paxum accounts must be in compliance with our verification rules. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some users, but ultimately it is for the security and benefit of all clients that we ensure all accounts are properly verified with valid documents, according to the appropriate rules.

Thanks in advance, and please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns.

Ruth :)

Recently we requested that you provide new Picture and/or Address verification documentation in relation to your Paxum account. Our records indicate that you have not yet uploaded this requested documentation.

In order to comply with the KYC (Know Your Customer) regulations issued by our banks and card provider, we do require this documentation to be clear, complete and verified within our system. There has been a slight adjustment in our KYC regulations and so it has become essential for all photo ID's to be provided in COLOR only.

If you do not take action to comply with this request then we will be forced to suspend your ability to transfer funds from your Paxum ewallet to your Paxum Credit Card until the requested documents are received. Please ensure you only upload COLOR photo ID's for full compliance.

In the event of this suspension your Paxum credit card will still be valid and functional, however you will not be able to add funds to it. All other withdrawal methods will still be fully available for your account.

To avoid any interruption of service we strongly recommend you upload the necessary documentation immediately to your account. You can do this easily by logging into your secure Paxum account and uploading under My Account >>> Profile Settings >>> Identity Confirmation and Street Address Confirmation.

Ensuring all Paxum accounts are in compliance with our KYC policy guarantees the integrity of all Paxum accounts. This is why we request your diligence to this important issue.

If you feel you are receiving this notification in error, please open a ticket through the Message Center, or email [email protected] directly to discuss this matter.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this urgent matter. We value your business, and we hope to continue serving your ewallet needs.

Sincerely,

Paxum Verification
