KillerK 07-27-2012 12:40 PM

Paul Markham 07-27-2012 12:49 PM

When does that not ever happen these days? The Stock Market has long ago lost it's original intentions of giving companies a way to fund their business ventures to becoming a place that large corporations & banks swindle money from hands of average Joes.

What I can't stand the most is after hours trading..

The banks and rich get to trade before the market opens and after the market closes. Such fucking bullshit. Clearly not an equal playing field.

Eat the rich!

The stock market is a zero sum game. There is a winner and a loser. Why wouldn't Facebook want to be the winner at IPO?

This is why I don't touch IPO internet stocks. I'm no expert but the past has proven itself recently imo...disregarding google of course.

Wait until the insiders flood the markets with that stock. It's a great deal at $3 to $8. NOT a great deal for anything higher than that. Of course, the game is changed if FB manages to make money off its purely mobile traffic.......

I read an article that Facebook could be in the new generation of Trillion dollar companies in the future.

You can also trade pre-market and after hours with online brokers.

What I don't like is your stop or limit order you place in normal trading hours is not put into action in pre-market or after hours. You need to put the order in again during pre-market or after hours to buy or sell. So there is not much protection putting in the stop loss if its useless after trading day is closed.

Didn't know some allowed it. Time for me to switch. Mine doesn't allow it.
