Could the USA win every olympic event?
If we really wanted to?
|
no way, suck too much at ping pong
|
They'd need to start from scratch and start looking after the health of their people from birth i.e. cut down the vaccines, improve nutrition, ditch Fluoride etc. If they did that for 25 years you'd notice a big difference at the Olympics
|
Surely "if you wanted to" you would win them all. That in itself answers your own question Mikey boy :)
|
so right now the US athletes that do not win just didnt want to?
|
ROFL, No

This is in regards to M O N E Y. Where the US funded the athletes and training 24/7. |

If the USA were allowed to compete in a manner that they would prefer ie use steroids and no one else is allowed to use them. |

according to that theory they should already win everything then. but they dont. so i am afraid this doesnt work. |

Some events like 100m and such you can only train so much for and then it's god given talent. Countries like China this happens. They are selected at a very young age and must train like it's their job. |
Not if the Canadians have anything to say about it lol
|
No. Our American Soccer (football) team didnt even qualify for the olympics.
|
Could we if we wanted to? Yes, kind of. We could put ourselves in a position where we were capable of winning every gold. To do this, however, would take a lot of money because there are so many sports, some of which we don't even qualify for, that we would have to put together programs with coaches and facilities to train athletes for every sport. Then we would have to find people who wanted to do those events. We would have to look at it like Romania used to look at women's gymnastics. They had girls from a young age dedicate their lives to it. The government took complete care of them and their one job was to do well in the Olympics.
I doubt the public would be very willing to spend the kind of money a huge endeavor like this would cost. |
americans lol
yeah dickheads you could win every event :1orglaugh |
That would be boring and we would need alternative games for passport challenged people :)

The country who has the most black people, my vote is on them.
Cool article below. Four-time Olympic gold medalist sprinter Michael Johnson has been quoted as saying he believes slave descendants make superior athletes -- and that such a controversial topic shouldn't be avoided but discussed openly as the world begins to turn its attention to the London Olympics. "All my life I believed I became an athlete through my own determination, but it's impossible to think that being descended from slaves hasn't left an imprint through the generations," he is quoted as saying in an article in the British newspaper the Daily Mail. "Difficult as it was to hear, slavery has benefited descendants like me -- I believe there is a superior athletic gene in us." http://www.latimes.com/news/nation/n...,7290180.story |
EVERYTHING is possible, just need to throw enough $$ at it...
but really, what would the point be? |
Surely the same could be said for most countries then if you threw enough money at it ??

Different people have strengths in different areas. Go through each event and hvae a look at who the majority of winners are. Here let me get you started. Track and field - you should know this one. Swimming - surprise Gymnastics Shooting Hmmm not working now is it? |

However freaks like Mr Bolt just destroy the opposition and it is hilarious to see runners nearly crying. |
So vaccines are holding back US Olympic Gold?

Not really. Many countries specialize in certain sports. Hard to break in. For example: china owns table tennis.
