hello people. most of you know 6bot and most of you is visiting it for new sites. now i have been checking new programs that have been sure posted first on 6bot, and i see that from like 150 clicks where many of it is webmasters i have like 2 referrals, and i know many of you used the info from 6bot on your sites. so i want to ask, what makes you happy when you remove the referral? you know you make money from the info you find there, otherwise you will not visit 6bot, so why are you that selfish and remove referral, just to not give me that few bucks? oh you idiots, keep it up while 6bot is there, one day you will be again happy for promotion forum on gfy, where you can fight with hundreds of other webmasters. not crying here fuck the few bucks, and big respect to everyone who keep the ref, and it is just like 5 percent maximum, just wanted to say how sad it is to not give credit. or dont you think? think! and have a nice day and have luck with your business everyone! :thumbsup

I never strip referrals. Why would you do that? Why be a dick and not give somebody a potential free cut of money you will make anyways? Only a dick would purposely take the time to strip a ref code off of a URL instead of help paying it forward. :2 cents:

I always use your site but never strip the referral though. However I do click the links and in about 90% of the programs I don´t signup to promote them....

Probably more people do the same and that´s why you don´t see that many joins compared to traffic.

Usually when signing up to new programs, if I remember someone posting a referral url somewhere, I hunt it down and use it just to be nice :)

I like your site, but never visit it. I'm also too lazy to strip the referral codes. Why would anyone bother? It doesn't take anything out of their pockets to do so. Are you sure you aren't just being a little paranoid about it?

This is very common with webmasters, they see each other as the competition. I learned this after I posted a site up here that nobody knew, it's now all over the Internet, within days of me posting it appeared on some of the biggest sites around, but they didn't show up in my CCBill. Fortunately, a few nice smaller webmasters did leave my referral in, which brings me around $15 per month...better than nothing.

Overall though it's not worth it unless you're doing it large-scale like Sign Up Bucks, doing it for a friend to help them or your actually getting paid by the program direct for your work.

Strange thing is, GFY does actually bring Porn sales, I never expected that, I posted up some examples which were relevant to a topic, then the next thing I see sales referred from GFY.

I sometimes signup for memberships of sites I see on here as long as they won't destroy my credit card lol

I looked at your site a couple times but I thought it was more for surfers - didn't quite get the point. Actually quite useful to know the latest sites to promote, fresh always sells better. And no I don't strip referral codes...

Would probably be the smart thing to do. I have heard some seo people talking about 6bot and using the site to find the latest sites. Then they open like 10 or so sites and push the latest. So some are def. using it.

I actually prefer 6bot to Signbucks...even though Signbucks has a lot more programs, 6bot is nice and clean so it's very easy to find programs you want to promote.

I think you're a bit paranoid. I don't see a reason why would anyone strip the code.
If someone is actually doing it, it is not worth talking about it and opening a thread in the first place. They'll fuck up themselves wasting their time in illogical activities like that.

Probably you expected more income from your website. Maybe whining about that here may promote your site in some way and you'll get more visitors now.

Webmasters do that all the time or will type the affiliate program url directly because they are just assholes or don't want another webmaster on his tier looking at his stats..

Regular surfers who buy things online also delete ref codes for no reason and there are even browser plugins that strip those codes, too.

If you want the most out of your affiliate links, you have to do tricks and force them in :upsidedow

My family lost our home in flooding. Nothing could be saved. I, with my wife and five kids, live in a cheap motel 10 miles away from the closest, small city.

Another reason this business is dead: Pathetic little cocksuckers who find information on a site, strip the referral links, sign up to the program, and deny the person who gave them the information the 14 cents that they earned.

If you click a link on someone's site, at least have the decency to let them collect the fucking referral money. Then again, most surfers probably strip the refcode when clicking links at YOUR site(s), so I guess it all works out in the end.

Getting 2 referrals from 150 hits is actually very good. Many of those are surfers, not webmasters and they just dont want to click anything as they expect free porn, not links.
