It this a good video card?

I'm looking to build or buy a new computer.... This is the video card I'm looking at. Keep in mind I'm looking to hook up three monitors to it.

GeForce GTX 670

It's a great Card I just built myself a new computer running two of these. I'm not using 3 moniters, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem.

670 is a nice one, question are you playing games or doing a lot of video encoding? if not 670 is kinda overkill.

if you are spending cash on the 670, i would just buy the 680.

I still have one of those here. Whopping 16MB. Bought it so I could play Unreal about 400 years ago.

That is sweet!

You game or encode on it?

Parts are so freaking expensive over here due to import tax. I'm looking forward to having a buddy come in so he can bring me some new parts, otherwise I have to tack on about 37% onto the normal price.

Just do my editing on it, bad thing is that it isn't any faster at encoding than my old computer, just uses like 20% system usage while encoding vids....

Ordered everything off of newegg.com total cost of the tower was around $2,400. I think the dual video cards were overkill. and when buyin a ssd make sure and get a big one, I learned the bigger they are the faster they run.... my main ssd is only a 120 gig for now.

Edit: At the same time I built this, My brother built a friend one using a gtx-570 and with that one "older" card, he still maxed out the windows ratings.

I have a GTX570 in one of my video machines, and other than the initial 1080p render out of Vegas Video, everything else is pretty fast. I want to get Solid State Drives put in but just have not got around to it yet. What brand did you get for your SSD?

My processor and primary hard disks are 5.9, memory is 7.1, graphics and gaming graphics are 7.9, so I have room for some upgrades. But even as it is now, it's still a pretty fast machine.
