Deadliest Catch Finale
I missed After The Catch. Did that guy get his fingertip put back on?
And Jakes face looked terrible at the wedding... Not hard to tell what he's doing in his free time. :Oh crap |
Doc said they would grind down the bone and pull skin across to make new tip on the finger.
No mention of Jake Harris' apparent return to drug use, nor his sleeping while others worked then promptly asking Sig if he could run the boat, which Edgar said no to. Guessing the Producers don't want to make him look worse than he's making himself look on the show. They glossed over Elliott's complete inability to run a boat, (IMO), and actually had him talking about buying his own boat. Led me to believe he'd been fired from RR but they didn't come out and say it. |
That finger was NASTY!

Thanks TisMe! :)

I thought the finale was almost anti-climactic compared to previous seasons. That finger was pretty tough to look at when they got real close. The Wizard kicked ass this season as did JR on Seabrooke but I know they had a ton of stress to lease that much quota so they pretty much had to stay out and grind. Each Wizard deck crew member made more than $150k just from crabbing which was almost twice as much as the 2nd place boat crew made. I have watched DC since it was a Documentary on Crab Fishing and the last few years have definitely not been as good since the stars of the show have gone "Hollywood". I think going marlin fishing with the Time Bandit crew would probably be a blast but they want $10k for a short trip. DC didn't go downhill quite as bad as Ice Road Truckers but I still watched every Dc episode this year and looking forward to next year.
My predictions are that Josh & Jake will get the Cornelia Marie back under their helm using money they made this year filming as long as Jake is not meth'd out and blowing all his cash on strippers and booze like 2 years ago. I don't think they will get the original CM crew back but they might do it if the money is right and do a nostalgic season in honor of Cap'n Phil. I think Elliot got fired from the Ramblin' Rose and will also use his filming money to try to be big bosses and lease or buy a boat. The Wizard with Keith and Monte will again lease huge quotas to try and beat this year, I don't think Keith will retire to an admin position after that long. On the NorthWestern Edgar will probably be the captain for half the season so Sig can see how he handles the boat but I don't think he will hand it over completely. I think the Time Bandit crew will stay pretty much the same just without Nick Sr but they will add another veteran to the deck I'm sure. The Seabrooke will stay the same and lease more quota like the Wizard to try and beat everyone. I have heard their might be a few new boats coming in next year to shake things up. I am looking forward to SOA in September :) |
I feel so bad for Josh, he is trying so hard to respect his dad's legacy and keep Jake safe and drug free but I think he is maybe fighting a losing battle. I was rather shocked to see Jake so . umm.. I guess disrespectful, to the Northwestern Crew, but I guess that is the drugs talking.
If I understood the ending right, Elliot's Crew completely walked off and quit, didn't they? That is what I understood so maybe they had no choice but to fire him, he is so arrogant and cocky. But did you see After the Catch where they were talking to him and he was saying how close he was to his crew and they showed him the part where they all walked and he is still sticking to them all being very close friends and how well he treated them? lol |
Yeah they quit. Well some of them anyway.
But he might not even have a boat next year. |
Stopped watching this year.. same shit another season, too many people now 'acting' for the camera
|
Man, that sounds super painful. Is the risk worth it? What do you guys think?
