Question concerning VPN or tunneling or whatever this is
 

I'm about to move into a serviced apartment where the internet is provided.

I'd like to keep my browsing of twinks.com and gfy.com a secret.

What is the best way to do this?

Buy a VPN service, you can get one for about $10 a month. "Virtual private network"

I setup a private ssh tunnel to one of my servers when I want to browse privately/securely at public places like coffee shops.

ssh -D 9999 -N [email protected]

then config your browser to use it as a proxy.

Set a VPN TUNNEL via SSH, in your VPS SERVER...

And set your browser proxy to connect via that tunnel.
