Do you know your phone number?

Everytime someone asks me my phone number, I have to look it up.

Anyone else?

Markul 07-24-2012 01:00 PM

I've had the same number for 13 years... so yea, I managed to memorize it :)

JFK 07-24-2012 01:02 PM

yup I do, but not all the various business's #'s

Ross 07-24-2012 01:03 PM

I know my Canadian number, my UK number, both my fiancée's numbers, my brothers number, my parents home numbers plus tons of other family phone numbers.

I just remember numbers very well.

Rochard 07-24-2012 01:04 PM

I do know my own phone number, which is so old it's still a 623 area code (Phoenix). But I don't know my wife's number.

CurrentlySober 07-24-2012 01:05 PM

Scott McD 07-24-2012 01:09 PM

Nope. I've had the same mobile number for years yet it always seems to slip my mind when someone asks me for it. Pain in the ass to be honest...

Phillipmcd1 07-24-2012 01:09 PM

I have to look mine up

u-Bob 07-24-2012 01:12 PM

No, but funny thing is I do know the numbers of my bank accounts.

BaldBishop 07-24-2012 01:23 PM

Only my business number.

candyflip 07-24-2012 01:24 PM

Yes, but there have been times I've had to think about it for a minute.

I do know my NYS driver's license number, which no one else I've ever met has had memorized.

LOL, funny you mention that. I just needed someones drivers license number about an hour ago, he gave it to me off the top of his head. I thought that was the most bizarre thing.

Lichen 07-24-2012 02:30 PM

u gotta be retarded to not know ur number

ottopottomouse 07-24-2012 02:45 PM

I know a few phone numbers people have had for years but now with mobile phones I don't learn any new ones. Always been good at remembering addresses though.

I don't know any of my current mobile numbers.

Inter-Sex 07-24-2012 03:02 PM

Just call 911, I'm sure they could hook you up. :P

I have a knack for remembering numbers, I know so many old phone numbers I wish I could forget.

baddog 07-24-2012 03:23 PM

I find it bizarre that someone might not know their DL number, or the license plate numbers to their vehicles.

I know both my cell numbers, my home number, the business number, and google voice. I actually just moved a week ago and I had the home number memorized before I actually moved in.

I've rattled it off to police officers on more than one occasion. They've all said that I'm the only person they've come across who knew their DL #.

I'm like Kristin. I have a thing for memorizing number stings. I used to be able to do PI to 100 decimals.

blonda80 07-25-2012 03:14 PM

i have the same number since 11 years ago so I know it

ShoeBox 07-25-2012 04:46 PM

I've had the same # for four years so I do know it , don't want to change it

LeRoy 07-25-2012 04:50 PM

I moved here to LA and got my new #(323) 937-2122

Took me 3 years to finally remember it lol

John-ACWM 07-25-2012 08:13 PM

Yup, just mine.

ErectMedia 07-25-2012 09:03 PM

3 cell phones and 1 home line so usually come up with it but takes a minute to figure it out as I usually combine 2 of them until I actually think

AllAboutCams 07-25-2012 09:13 PM

i have no idea what my number is it changes too much

96ukssob 07-25-2012 09:51 PM

I had the same number for about 5 years and was always giving it out. Finally got a new one after living in a different area code for over 2 years and had a problem confusing it with my home line.

When I was in high school I got my first cell phone and used to have it written down on the back of the phone because I had no clue :1orglaugh

Vapid - BANNED FOR LIFE 07-25-2012 11:01 PM

I use 30 character alpha numeric passwords that I have memorized, what do you think?

O MARINA 07-26-2012 07:50 AM

I don't know anyone's # BUT mine.

Sunny Day 07-26-2012 10:07 AM

Numbers

I can't remember my Gfs phone number, it's on my phone. Can't remember my current driver's license number.
But I remember my 1st DL number and my ex-wife's. They were easy as they were A1B2C3 style. Then my second DL, but this new one has no easy way to remember.
I can remember phone numbers from being a kid. Especially where Mom worked as she had to answer the phone with the phone number.
Craziest phone number was when I owned a hologram store in Leavenworth Kansas. SW Bell gave me 913-758-1000. People in Leavenworth wouldn't believe me, as the usual numbers had run out and the 758 numbers were just coming out. To make it worse, the US Government had a parallel phone system called FTS numbers. You had to be on their phone system and dial about 200 digits to get through. Turns out my 913-758-1000 was the same as the FTS phone number for the penitentiary at Leavenworth. Used to get interesting calls. Usually the calls started out, "is this Leavenworth?" I'd always answer truthfully, "look out the window & I see the town of Leavenworth." Once the warden at Guam was going to send me a prisoner. I replied, "well I guess he can sweep up the floor."
Never figured it out until a couple of maintenance guys from the USP came in and we got to talking.

Sunny Day 07-26-2012 12:01 PM

My number
