I met some Americans today
 

i was walking the dog in the countryside (UK) and some Americans came around the corning.

they sounded like these (in the you tube clip below).

its so funny to listen to them.

the little girl ran up to a stream and said 'thats amazing'.

then the lad said 'tug of war', but being american he said it as 'tug of were'.

and the parents were all in yellow and the whole family were happy and giddy.

americans do not know how to be english do they? they do not understand that in england your suposed to be glum and moan and complain. at no stage are you suposed to be happy. its eather way too cold or too hot. its rather disterbing to come accross happy people like that.

i cannopt understand americans. surly you cannot enjoy being so happy?

if that girl was english, rather than say thats amazing, she would have been moaning that she had to come outside and when can she go home. thats the english way. the dad would be moaning that its cold. and the mum that she is fed up of her kids. thats how we english enjoy our days out.

so if you americans come to the uk. remeber just to moan about everything. so if your stood weighting for a train, just turn to somone near you and say somthing like 'this service is terrible, and the weather is cold', then you will be thought of as english. never ever say anything is good. unlike ameracans who love to say the usa is great, in england we prefer top say the uk sucks. it chears us up.
