simple google analytics (wp).. haven't used oldschool counters since extreme-dm was a new thing :)

awstats :thumbsup

For Wordpress blogs I use additionally Wassup plugin

Googol Anal is good for larger sites but it's a pain in the ass to learn and has some harsh navigation/intuitive issues.

Still pretty good though.

Awstats is good if you know how to install and tweak the plug-in to your server logs.

Statcounter is the simplest to use.

I usually prefer having two sets of metrics to compare - most don't count the hits the same and it's good to have two sets to compare/analyze....

well.I have not yet found how to use Awstats tweak to my pages..seems like a software .

since i have stopped using GA and started with awstats my traffic has improved

why lol...?
