let's try something new and different:

give us a choice this time

It really is sad that out of all the eligible people in the USA, that these are the two best puppets anyone can find.

The sooner people realize it's a one party system and they lose no matter what, the better.

The choice for many was Ron Paul. He was ON FIRE. Unfortunately, the media either wouldn't mention him and/or tried to destroy him.

All you can do is sit back and laugh at the whole process.

I hereby present Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson for your consideration. He's pro choice, pro Second Amendment rights (meaning against gun control measures), anti-censorship, wants to end the so-called "War on Drugs" once and for all, pro same-sex marriage, generally fiscally conservative and socially liberal.

To me, at least, that list of traits above reads like a very nice mix of good, sensible positions expressed on both the 'right' and 'left' of American politics. :2 cents:

I'm pretty damn cynical when it comes to politicians and politics, but I actively like this guy. He did a damn fine job as Governor of New Mexico, particularly when it came to standing his ground against senseless initiatives and flawed legislation sent his way by the legislature. I believe he used his veto power over 750 times during his tenure as governor (in case you are wondering, that's a lot; reportedly, that was more vetoes than all other governors combined during the same time frame).

Johnson is getting my vote, even if he doesn't have a chance in hell of winning when the election rolls around. Of course, that chance might seriously improve if he's permitted to participate in debates with Obama and Romney later this year. I think he'd obliterate both of them, not only in terms of his debating prowess and the ability to think on his feet, but in terms of the sensibility of his positions, and on the so-called "character issues," as well.

At any rate, check Johnson out a bit; you just might conclude a decent choice for President is available in 2012, after all.

Why would you want to run, is the first question to ask yourself. Money? Nope.

So your family name could be remembered in history books?
