I've made bank over the years selling domain names. Some how the stories of my sales always make it back to friends - not by my doing.

I'll get the occasional friend who suggests we register "fastmoney.com" or "buyhomes.com" and without blinking an eye I'll tell them - "it's already registered"

Of course they never believe me and I have to explain to them to just "trust me, it's already taken, I don't have to look"

This reminds me of one of those times.
