Sounds about right. I haven't seen the TV version, but I have seen worse and more ridiculous dub-ins on network TV edits.

Never understood why US channels censor movies or why anyone would want to watch a censored movie.

Thank god for HBO balancing out all this censoring crap.

I think my favorite dub came from Chris Farley in Billy Madison. The line " that Veronica Vaughn is one piece of ass". Became " that Veronica Vaughn is one hot tommale". What made it funnier was that they made no attempt to make the voice even remotely similar

I heard that they did an edit of rainman once for an in-flight movie version, but cut out the entire bit about why he wouldn't fly , which was kinda the basis for the entire road trip.

I watched deliverance on amc once and they cut out the entire Ned Beatty anal rape scene. Must have left a bunch of people confused.
