Regular room rate 101 ?
Show dates room rate USD $18,385
Wanted to rent some rooms not the penthouse floor. LOL

Maybe, we will stay at the Ambassador Hotel downtown again ...

Only showed 11K for me, just came across it when I were searching for rooms nearby since I knew it had been sold out since February.

Check for "Hotel Silenzio" - its a short walk but a nice hotel for a reasonable price

Edit - you can book directly here: http://www.silenziohotel.cz/index.php

Were one my choices last year but I were too late I ended up booking a month before the show and nothing were available. I ended up in some hotel 3-4 stops down on the tram and the interweb sucked and I need it to make calls when I am traveling.
I booked The Diplomat Hotel it is close enough to the show hotel to walk there on a sunny day but its uphill all the way.
The show hotel is perfect, the layout and how attendees interact is the best I've seen just need 500 more rooms.

You know its a success when rooms are sold out 7-8 months before the show.

Silenzio is nice, but don't expect much from the Internet.

I am so looking forward to Praha!

I was considering going again this year as it was a great show but the Diplomat is kinda far if you want to run back and forth. I wish the show hotel was bigger or had more of a room block. So looks like its just Amsterdam and London for us.

Can't understand the point holding an event in hotel which cost more than 300$ a night MAX ! Not all attenddes are Big Ballers... :2 cents:

Depends on the city I guess. Ours is only 169$/night :thumbsup

I agree, the same hotel layout with more rooms would be pretty close to perfect (the hotel could be a little nicer as well). The hotel sold out in only 48 hours this time.

The Diplomat is not bad as an alternative. It is in walking distance, and we will try our best to find a sponsor for a shuttle bus service in the morning and the evening.

All in all it is difficult to find an event hotel that works for our group - and that I can rent exclusively in Prague. Trust me, I know what I am talking about - I have looked at over 40 (forty) five star hotels in Prague! Something is always missing. Very difficult for an organiser to "get it right".

I like the layout of the hotel the big downstairs area with easy access to go out side and the conference rooms and it never seems over crowded I doubt there would be a better venue. The problem is the number of rooms I just looked it up and saw they have 136 rooms which surprised me it seems a lot bigger.
I don't know the prices during the show but I assume $150-200 if you book in time and thats about the top price in my opinion if someone want to spend more for a nicer hotel they would stay somewhere else. Some shows the hotel is $300+ and thats way to much I would rather stay 500m down the street and pay $100-150, all I need from a room is its clean and have decent internet I am not going to live there just use it for sleeping.

The shuttle would be great maybe a mini van that leave at the full hour from one hotel and the half hour from the other from 10am to 6pm, hiring a company should not be more than ?500 a day. The problem I have about taking a cab is that I hate to disappoint the driver taking a cab for such a short trip if he have been waiting for an hour or more to get a fare.

From the shows I have been to the best show hotels with the best layouts are TES Prague and TPF.
