New Free Cam Site Launching Today With Never-Been-Done Features...

So today we're finally keeping up with the Jones' and launching a "free" cam site with a new feature I'm pretty sure I invented. At least I don't know anyone else that is doing it. I think this feature will increase conversions for our affiliates like crazy! I'm calling it "Preview Session". Basically what it does is allow all users (even non registered ones) to view the webcam of our models right when they enter a chat room, but it only allows viewing access for a half hour. Once that half hour is up, they are prompted to tip at least 1 credit to the model to refresh their Preview Session for another half hour. I feel it's little enough as to where it shouldn't deter any non-freeloaders and large enough to keep the models happy. I also think the quality of our models should make for a high conversion rate.

The site launches at 5 PM est / 2 PM pst if you want to check it out: http://ClassyCams.com

We have some promo tools up at SNRCash, but a lot more are coming later this week including new white labels, landing pages, hosted galleries (featuring Gisele), and pop ups.

BIGTYMER 07-04-2012 10:37 PM

Nice idea. Good luck with it! :)

Mutt 07-04-2012 10:39 PM

That was my first thought - However if the girls know what they are doing it should be OK - It just might take them a while to adjust...

Yeah... 30 minutes? What the fuck? Are you retarded?

This is bar none one of the dumbest fucking ideas I have ever heard pitched on this forum.

adultflash 07-05-2012 01:33 AM

Looks good .

glamourmodels 07-05-2012 02:09 AM

CWH/SNR has pound for pound the hottest cam girls around IMO :2 cents:

Although the domain is kinda weak IMO (sorry)

You should have talked to me first :-) I have some of the best cam domains out there.

Just sayin'

Anyway, good luck!

SNRProductions 07-05-2012 03:02 AM

Considering some sites out there offer unlimited free viewing, I didn't think 30 min was too short. I can always play around with it if necessary.

glamour, hit me up with some of those domains. Curious what you have over there.

nvaonline 07-05-2012 03:20 AM

put it on 15 mins..

BIGTYMER 07-05-2012 03:42 AM

Make it 10 minutes. That'll make the freeloaders race to squirt it! Must beat buzzer! :1orglaugh

Pseudonymous 07-05-2012 03:51 AM

I agree, with the money that goes into a brand like that, especially a big free webcam site where there is major competition. Where every bit helps. I wouldn't name it classycams either, the last thing people want is a classy product when looking to view naked girls on cam ;)

Plus it sounds like youre saying the actual webcams are classy. heh

I think it would definitely be worth the investment for real good domain.

Good luck with the new site though!

2intense 07-05-2012 04:02 AM

looks good

CamTraffic 07-05-2012 04:21 AM

sounds good, send me some credits so i can take it for a test drive :)

Actually, think it was a wise move directed more towards the model brain than the surfer brain to appeal to those models who want to do camming but want something "classier" than MFC. The surfers will come because it's free, but to get a higher quality model involved, things like that are a big deal. Gearing the branding and design to the girls is just smart. And, as always, SNR finds a majority of the top-teir camgirls out there by applying this same method. I can't wait to see it launched later today! Got some links up and ready to make some cash!

I dont think the domain matters really. As long as its not called trannycams he is good to go with ClassyCams.

Biggest challenge will be the lack of models online at any given time, specially in the launch phase.

Good luck :thumbsup

its not a bad idea.

though i am suspecting most if not all will just refresh.

my thought for an idea is to limit unregistered users to say 200 or non tipers to 200. thus encurage people to sign up/tip.

The otrher thought is that registration is done via facebook or twitter and that unregistered or non tipers posts are put on there facebook/twitter site, but those who tip can opt out of posts being sent to there facebook/twitter site.

Incredible stupidity. That is all I can say about your post.

ruff 07-05-2012 07:59 AM

I'm going to sign up for your program and give your cams a shot. Never know if it's a good idea for half hour of free until you try it. Considering the number of cam domains out there, ClassyCams doesn't sound so bad, so I wouldn't worry about it.

HALF HOUR!!?!?! hahaha wtf. You dumb shits.

I see NOTHING at all new here at all. You god damn shill. :helpme

You need to have it on some other plan. 1 token every 30 minutes is not a good idea.

digitalfantasies 07-05-2012 08:26 AM

I like the idea, Personally I think 30 min is a little long too, but as you said... you can adjust that to 15 if necessary, try it and find out...

I will sign up and review.. good luck!

Edit: I wouldn't worry too much about the domain... as long as the models are hot and naked, visitors will remember any domain name with pleasure, I remember when people were mocking the name "chaturbate" too, that seems to work out fine...

BTW: I think I have a great idea that adds to your idea... what is your icq?

Who are you to criticize his idea? I think its pretty good.

SNRProductions:

You are facing an interesting dilemma. You want to give your new customers enough time to warm up to your models, and give your models enough time to "convert" each of your customers, while at the same time not letting freeloaders or "beggars" take advantage of your models, your site, and all your hard work.

No one her can possibly give you a good answer on this. Some will say 5 minutes, some will say 5 days. Some will say free for all. The only way you would really know is after experimenting with different time limits, and comparing the sales from thousands of users. Eventually you would find a "sweet spot" that gives you the highest amount of sales for the lowest amount of free chat time allowed.

As you start your site you might find yourself second guessing this all the time. What I would suggest is this : Pick a time limit, say 30 minutes if thats what you like, and post it on the front page of your website. Let every user know that they get 30 minutes free and that after that they are expected to tip to remain in her free chat room.

If its not too late in your software development, maybe when the time limit is reached, you can either block out or grey-out the video, and / or block out / grey out the chat window. This shows the connection is still in place, and gives greater incentive for the customer to provide a tip to remain connected.

And also by announcing your time limit ahead of time, you are "reminding' the customer that now is the time to pay up, vs pushing him into a corner "pay now or get out".

Unlike Tijuana_Tom here, I wish you all the best of luck with your new cam site.

Your post sounds like you agree with me. You're just a much nicer person.

I'm tired of wishing people "luck" for bullshit. No thought at all, no creativity at all was put into this idea.

Just increased the preview time to 30 minutes big woopty.

btw, (**********? More like **********ss) My cam site is mainstream and competing with the likes of Justin.tv, blog.tv and and Stickam.

xNetworx 07-05-2012 09:43 AM

SNR: What do your models think about this idea? Have you asked them for feedback? I find that cam sites care more about the customer than the model these days and they rarely, if ever, ask for feedback from the models.

Tijuana_Tom 07-05-2012 09:44 AM

If he wants to be creative and have unique features he needs to talk to the models.

This 30 minute idea i'd leave it upto the models to control how long someone gets to watch for free and how much they have to tip to continue to watch for free

Failed 07-05-2012 09:46 AM

I think 30 minutes is perfect. It's enough time for the customer to become invested in what they're watching and want to then continue their investment. If I'm only able to hop around and view for 10 minutes I may not find that girl who keeps my attention before I'm locked out and then move onto another site.

TheSenator 07-05-2012 09:50 AM

I am prepping my traffic.

Should I swap out CamWithHer with ClassyCams or swap out ICGirls???

I made the mistake of looking into the site more.

*facepalm*

I don't know how any of you are in business.

Fob 07-05-2012 12:27 PM

I just signed up =)

Is that 30 minutes per room? or 30 minutes on the site?
How long does it time out for?
How much does 1 credit cost?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion Mark...that's actually exactly what we did. The customer can still type and hear the model after the time is up but the cam window gets greyed out and they're asked to tip any model of their choice at least 1 credit.

Does anyone use a shorter "preview time"? I don't know anyone that has a similar feature which is why I thought it was creative.

If you have to swap one out, swap out CWH because we are going to advertise CWH on ClassyCams eventually and you'll be able to make sales to both.

30 minutes on the site with any model. If a customer goes in one chat room for 5 min, he'll have 25 min left for the other rooms.

1 credit = 1 dollar. We keep it simple.

And thanks Trev and everyone else (besides Tom who has nothing contstructive to say).

I love how this "community" is so fast to trash anyone and everyone who has a misstep.

A cam site can be complicated. I'm sure that whatever problem they are having at the moment was unforeseen. Give them a chance.

lazycash 07-05-2012 02:39 PM

Finally got the 1 live model's cam to come up and it froze after 30 seconds. I see the 30 min preview time countdown over chat, yet above the cam it says Remaining Time - Unlimited. I'm still unclear, is this an MFC clone, with free public shows and tipping? The free timed preview is nothing new, I've seen Clickcash, Cams.com and a few others employ it at various times in the past.

I would hardly call my comment a "trashing". However, you'd think that if you were announcing this big launch of a new site, that you would have beta tested it and have it ready to go at the launch time.
