Question for the British guys...cheques

So as all us Brits know, getting paid by foreign currency cheques is a bit of a shit.

Wanting some opinions of where to bank for the best rates. I am at Lloyds TSb and the rates are pretty bad. Or failing that any other suggestions?

Quite a few people use Auctionchex.com for small cheques.

pay them into a main branch and they are cleared next day (i have found).
