Got my car back from the mechanic today
 

The had to swap the computer, now it's driven 11.000 KM more than when I handed it over. They had it for a week. Wtf :mad:

They pulled the computer out of a different car. What did you pay for?

Didn't pay anything, it was on the "warranty" of the deal i made back in December. I just spoke to a car owners motor organisation I'm a member of and they said the same thing you just did. The mechanic told me they used a brand new. I told him to document that, if he can't, I guess it's lawyer time again ><

I put my bike in for a service, just a 125 dirt/road bike when i was learning - they forgot to put oil in after draining, it seized in about a mile, later on in life, a different shop this time on a yamaha R1 they forgot to replace the oil cap, oil pissed out everywhere including all over the back wheel - you find a good mechanic, keep ahold of him!
