Wordpress expert needed
My wordpress website is messed up giving me 500 errors, not showing new posts etc. Right now my host deleted the current install and is trying to import the database to make it work, but from what i've noticed these people aren't too good at wordpress. If there's someone who knows this stuff it'll be awesome.

First of all, try reimporting after disabling all plugins
You could also set the memory allocated to PHP higher (I think I said that right.. :upsidedow ) If you have access to php.ini: Change 'memory_limit = 8M' to 'memory_limit = 16M' If not, maybe try creating a .htaccess with this: php_value memory_limit 16M If that doesn't work, do you have access to log files? If not, maybe try importing via ftp if they're doing it another way.. |
if you have access to log files, tail -f logfilename
then visit the site, see what exactly the issue is, other than that, disable all plugins by renaming the ones you had activated, or just rename the plugin dir, and create a new dir plugins same with themes. |
If using cpanel, go to mysqldatabases... and try repairing that specific database.
also, if you can get in to the wordpress admin area, go to general/settings and try choosing a different Permalinks structure. |
do you have any money?

When it gets to just the right golden sear, flip that bitch over and repeat then slap it in the oven for about 20 minutes until cheese starts oozing out.
By that time you should have just gotten the right texture to the porcini risotto. Slice, top with sauce and serve! |
