Nasty Dollars...

It was for $35 and I had just moved so it got sent back to them. They sent me an Email for an updated address and I gave it to them. They then sent it to me next day FedEX at a cost to them of $25. I was blown away.

After that we both went on to make a lot of money together.

ICS - Lensman, long time ago in 90's

u-Bob 07-02-2012 12:43 PM

That was back in 98 I think. It was either Amazon.com or some Viagra program, I don't remember exactly.

Me too. 1996, 1997? It was odd too because we were living in Livermore, California at the time, and as it turns out... The ICS office then was located on the same street my wife worked on.

robwod 07-02-2012 01:04 PM

Xpics, mid 90's I think.. maybe 1996 or 97.

Or, it may have been Adult Check or Validate, one of the two prominent AVS sites of the era.

Good riddance.

Inter-Sex 07-02-2012 01:07 PM

My first one came from blingbucks, never cashed it, still should have it somewhere.

AdultCheck was likely our earliest.

Our most lucrative has been with Kink over the years - we're affiliate #302 (got in on the ground floor back when Peter only had Hogtied.com...running it from his apartment).

MrBottomTooth 07-02-2012 02:00 PM

I think it was rush4gold pay per click. I ended up getting my account closed because I was hotlinking other peoples pics on my tripod hosted page and someone complained. I didn't even realize I was doing something wrong. :) bandwidth was still expensive back then.

Hmm, let's see... Babylon-X, AdultCheck, iEntertain/ClubLove... I don't remember which one, but I believe it was AdultCheck.

UGAS - It was the gay version of Cyberage.

We used refresh our stats every few minutes and cheer with every sign.

"Thats $44 in the last 5 mins - YAY"....

Now its "I can pay my hosting bill this month - YAY".

Reminds me of our early days - free hosting with GoCasino in 1999.

About two weeks after our site launch, they notified us that we were exceeding our 2gb/day bandwidth limit and told us we'd need to go with other paid hosting.

Luckily we found affordable alternative (paid) hosting...converted our site to a pay format - and never looked back.

Sharky 07-02-2012 02:21 PM

CyberErotica/CECash before there was real "programs" in late 1995 or early 1996. I was paid $0.005 per raw... tracked by sending traffic to a page with a digits.com counter on it that meta refreshed to cybererotica.com

The good old days.

SILVERCASH -> First sale AND Revsharehosting -> First check. Year 2003.

I still remember that morning when I wake up and saw the first sale of $35 in silvercash. Could not believe it.

Miss those good old days. Really miss them...
