.xxx domain paid for itself in 1 month

My .xxx domain paid for itself in the month of June alone. :thumbsup

I sent 0 traffic to the domain, it seems that search engines are placing .xxx domains ahead of other extensions if it contains adult content.

Best-In-BC 07-01-2012 09:18 AM

Thats bullshit, not what your saying, what the se's would be doing if true

SmutHammer 07-01-2012 09:20 AM

your bragging about making around $100. in a month?

Failed 07-01-2012 09:20 AM

I've also seen success with my .xxx domains that have paid for themselves and the renewals coming up in December. Fuck the haters :321GFY

not saying it's an exact science yet, but it is working for me.

I don't see any .xxx domains in Google SERPs. Any keyword your site is ahead of .coms for?

More then $100, talking about 40 joins in 1 month with little traffic...keyword specific domain ranked #1

I need to get my other .xxx domains going now...

Harmon 07-01-2012 09:26 AM

I have yet to see a .xxx domain name in any serp.

Enjoy your lies.

DBS.US 07-01-2012 09:27 AM

If this is true, why tell everyone? Why not buy all the .xxx domains and be a billionaire?

Tijuana_Tom 07-01-2012 09:27 AM

fail. :helpme

And thus it begins. Soon we'll all have to move, if not because of some silly law but instead because search engines will demand it.

Well then I got lucky, rather not get into the specifics since I don't want other webmasters to try and knock me out of that spot.

I just thought the info is interesting, I don't promote .xxx domains...I promote the sport of one-wall Handball and Japanese/Asian Porn. :1orglaugh

SmutHammer 07-01-2012 09:34 AM

The only thing I have against .xxx is that everyone hates them, so you could lose alot of affiliates by using one.

I understand your posting that it paid for itself in one month. a lot of people here say it takes months to get your first sale, when we launched lilcandy.com had a join in the first 5 minutes of being able to accept billing.

BFT3K 07-01-2012 09:40 AM

I just searched the word "porn" on google, and there were ZERO .xxx domains on the first page.

Z E R O.... the same amount of money a .xxx domain name is worth $0.

I am just an affiliate, and sponsors should accept business in a recession in any way possible. I also did not want to spend another 1k + a year on .xxx domains but we don't know where its going yet so I took the risk and have some decent .xxx domains.

Like everyone says on here adapt or die :pimp

To move where? Soon there will be 1000's of various TLD's like .porn, .sex, .fuck, .adult etc. Which one will prevail? :upsidedow

- Jesus Christ - 07-01-2012 09:47 AM

By the way .biz used to do what he's claiming .xxx does in search engines, but guess what happened after a while?

It stopped working.

seeme 07-01-2012 09:48 AM

I have noticed an increase in .xxx rankings in the results to, not outranking .com but getting closer and closer.

Klen 07-01-2012 09:49 AM

Sound like you guessed se keyword which dont have much competition and you got there thanks to domain se factor.Nothing related with extension.

my thoughts exactly. Sounds like a low competition word[s] the extension had nothing to do with it.

seeme 07-01-2012 09:56 AM

How fucked up would it be if Google started favoring .xxx websites for adult search terms.

Its coming up on top for 3 different searches, and yes the searches are not very popular but super specific for the micro niche.

The .xxx gTLD has political and ethics problems.

If they had just introduced the gTLD at a reasonable price and terms they would have only had the regulation and adult content issues to deal with.

So, from the beginning they created their own problems.

With the proliferation of maybe 500 new gTLD extensions in the next 18 months or so the old school thinking of .com is king may just go down in flames. Hedge your bets or adapt or die.

I've made a few hundreds bucks off of a .99 cent .info domain. Doesn't mean .info is the wave of the future.

wehateporn 07-01-2012 12:09 PM

With .XXX you have to pay off $100 before you can start making money, with a .COM it's just $10 before the profits begin. That's shocking that it took a whole month for the .XXX to pay for itself, I hope you've learned your lesson; you've effectively been a slave to .XXX for the whole month

He's reporting 40 joins in a month from the domain, that's a good return for his outlay.

Google doesn't like .XXX so unless he's paying for ads on Google, it seems unlikely. :2 cents:

is your personalized search turned off? Try another "clean" computer on another isp.

Freaky_Akula 07-01-2012 01:31 PM

Total BS. Top ten Google results for "ass fucking", "anal sex", "dildo", "anal porn", "interracial", "lesbian xxx", "granny xxx",...: no dotxxx domain in sight.

That can fuck you up. Since Google did the personalized search...you THINK you're kicking ass and then you find out you ain't. lol

But then again...who is? Everybody has a "personalized search" from Google now. So whatever sites they already visited that have a particular keyword in it is the one that's gonna come up at the top of the search. :(

mineistaken 07-01-2012 02:51 PM

40 joins from a site a month impressive
40 joins from a site you sent 0 traffic is more impressive
40 joins from a domain you sent 0 traffic - MAGIC

:1orglaugh No I meant I did not promote/forward/purchase traffic to the domain, the domain is generating it's own traffic due to the search engine positioning it. The small amount of traffic the domain is getting must be targeting specific niche.

It would be magic if had 0 traffic and got joins...not the case here.
