Anyone hear of "skrill" for online payments?
 

My g/f bought God knows what from ebay and the seller only takes "skrill" WTF is that? Besides slang for cash money.

Moneybookers is popular.
I think they are more popular in eu but don't quote me on that, i may be very wrong.
Big e commerce companies like magento for example have processing for them in their shopping carts by default. I have paid for something once using them and didn't have any issues, they just aren't that popular compared to like paypal or authorize.net, etc. for processing to my knowledge.

I've never heard anything bad about skrill. But I haven't looked very hard.

It's moneybookers re-branded. There are only two payment systems pre-approved for direct ebay purchases, Paypal (owned by ebay themselves) and Moneybookers/Skrill.

So having ebay accepting them is good enough for me. Sextronix used to pay out to affiliates via them, or at least it was an option if you so choose.

Much like Paypal but with lower fees all over.

i take skrill as a payment option on ebay formally moneybookers. if you dont want to give out your credit info go to walmart and get a vanilla visa :2 cents: oh and the slang is skrilla

moneybookers is safe service, working like charm for ages! They were used for porn payouts and other stuff age ago, but then they stooped to accept anything porn related and moved to clean mainstream :) ...
