I've got a 0:11950 who actually used to be good, I believe they became over-saturated. (victims of own success)

Adult paymaster: 0:127789 uniques...

I cannot figure out where the traffic is coming from anymore lol, but for some reason I'm still sending them a few hundred hits a day :disgust

I sometimes wonder if a rival sponsor would use a HitBot to make the ratios of other sponsors look bad...but that's the conspiracy theorist in me. :winkwink:

would be a complete and total waste of time to do something like that.

bad ratios can come for a lot of different reasons that have little to do with the sponsor. The trick is to talk to the people who are familiar with the sites they have and who know what converts best for that type of traffic.

Some webmasters go through their ratios and focus their updates on whoever's converting with the best ratios. I do, and I make a note not to promote any 1 in 3000 + junk, so if there are HitBots damaging ratios it would have an impact

Same here. I find it very weird actually. All my other GF sponsors are performing well on the exact same traffic (Amakings, crakcash, revengebucks etc...)
I pulled the links and banners down last week...

most webmasters know how much traffic they are sending to each site and would know right away if some bs hitbot numbers started showing up for them, not to mention analytics would easily prove this.
