I remember the last update i guess 3 weeks ago, so i think this sh*tty 3.4.1 would keep my day again busy with my blogs.

A security release, so might as well.

My experience so far: https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1072867

Searching online for concrete help isn't coming up with much - lots of results for people experiencing the same thing on updates, with lots of suggestions on how to fix it, but nothing really conclusive on what works or not.

is there any auto-update plugin since auto updating blogs by hand is pain in the ass :)

TheSenator 06-28-2012 06:22 AM

Should I charge my clients for this upgrade or give it as a freebie.

That's the way to embrace the whole broken piece of shit that is Wordpress... You can get rich quick by charging clients to upgrade this pathetic piece of shit "CMS". There's no fucking way anyone who actually runs their own business has the time to keep on top of Wordpress security issues.

Wordpress is an incestuous, broken piece of bloatware. The developers and contributors are too busy licking each other's assholes and adding redundant features to actually develop a simple piece of software that works - and doesn't get broken every other week.

Wordpress used to be compact and sleak. Now it tries to be everything for everyone - and it fails on every level. Its not even a good blogging CMS anymore. Bloatware, pure and simple.

When there's an entire industry built around repairing, installing, and making your product work, that means your product is a useless piece of shit.

That's par for the course these days, so who cares?
