Samsung 'runs out' of Galaxy S3 phones
 

Huge demand for the Galaxy S3 phone has meant that Samsung simply hasn't been able to keep up - and has lost two million sales this month.

The handset is forecast to hit 10 million sales in two months - with demand fuelled by lack of a credible rival from Apple.

?It is simply that demand far exceeded our expectation. But that doesn't mean we had set a very conservative demand forecast,? Samsung said.

people always want what they can't have, therefore you can't have a Samsung S3, you will pre-order one instead.

I'll happily stick with my S2 for another few months until my contract is due again...

used to be into getting the newest and fanciest new toy, but I havent bought a new phone in yrs. Dont care for the IPhone types and BB has'nt brought out a new product that was exciting in years.:winkwink:

This is just marketing hype. Totally legal. Running out of product is not uncommon.

Dude, it's sooo nice.. noticeable faster than the S2 and the display is better - and the S2 already has an amazing display.

I just wish it had the slide out keyboard like the Samsung Epic 4g. I like the option to use a keyboard.

I've been sitting on my Epic for just this purpose.

Looks like Sprint will have a Motorola phone with slide out keyboard in the next few months, but I don't think it's going to be on par with the GSIII.

Is the S3 comfortable in the hand? Seems like it may be stretching the edge of size for a phone.

I tested the S3 on both Verizon and Sprint. That middle key is a killer. Every-time you go to type you hit it and it turns on that fake crappy siri. It's ubber annoying.

Also, The chances of it getting upgraded to jelly bean is near 0 :)

Most biz people have an iphone + an android. Iphones pretty much never fail for email and calls and texts and long batteries. Also, blackberries. People tend to keep the android in the pocket :)

I'm talking about everyone I see...everywhere. They all have iPhones. It's like this cool club I'm not part of, nor do I want to be.

They all have these cool little skins and cases, but underneath it's all the same fucking phone.

Over here most of the people (except sales guys) replaced their iPhones by an Android type of phone.
