Paypal and File Lockers

If people can post file lockers which are billing with Paypal and screenshots / urls of payment pages along with a screenshot of anything alluding to illegal content then I would appreciate it.

I have obtained a contact at the Paypal US AUP department who is taking an interest in the matter.

MaDalton 06-25-2012 06:15 AM

nothing more easy than that - do your own screenshots:

Here's one. Cloudnator takes Paypal and has porn on their servers.

Didn't take a screenshot, but here's a forum post that has links to porn on Cloudnator.

Thanks for the replies people, if you could help me out as I do not have much time at the moment and email me with links, screenshots and paypal checkout screenshots that would be appreciated, I am merely passing these on.

Update: I really need the following in the following format.

1. Screenshot of page linking to illegal material
2. Screenshot of Paypal payment page
3. Site Name and URL

If people can email me this in this format to sales at adultking dot co dot uk it will help greatly. I am in direct contact with a senior compliance manager at Paypal and Paypal Media Relations. I have also been briefing a journalist from News Ltd in Australia who is preparing a story as we speak.

I only have a few more hours to get this information to all concerned.

JimmyStephans 06-25-2012 12:01 PM

A screen cap of illegal material - depending on if you mean illegal by copyright or illegal due to content of the material - would be tricky. If you mean content - it wouldn't even be legal for a GFYer to screen cap.

Plus, the files are ZIPs, so not really anything to see. Can't prove whats in there by screencap.

Good effort but not sure screen cap is way to go. PayPal should not depend on you to test files for legality (by laws) or legality within their own rules.

Puts you in a risky position.

I don't need files, I need screencaps like DWB posted the other day which show suspicious links and paypal billing linked to the sites providing those links. I think anyone would be stupid to actually download any of that shit.

Man, if you have a journalist preparing astory, just need links to filelockers CP content. That story would be viral and an instant world success. Filelockers would be destroyed in no time!

I have prepared an article to provide to Journalists.

Comments would be appreciated as I refine this.

Quote yourself stating when an opinion or making a judgement such as "despite contacting Paypal on numerous phone numbers, Paypal have thus far declined to act on this matter. In fact, contacting anyone at Paypal is almost impossible."

Otherwise the journalist would be claiming they contacted PayPal. The release should quote you talking smack about PayPal.

Here's an example of a press release I wrote, with assistance from people who know how. Notice how I'm quoted when I express an opinion or judgement:

I have added more to http://coldcopy.com.au thanks to several GFY members who have provided screenshots.

Please share the link far and wide, let's really make this an issue and maybe we can threaten the very existence of file lockers, at least prevent payment processors from dealing with them.

As DWB rightly points out, cut their income and there's no incentive.

Once I have dealt with Paypal I will be going after Mastercard and Visa, then following that the ad companies that advertise on these sites.

I'm determined to make this a campaign.

I've been getting alot of abuse via the contact form on the site. Not so much from Twitter.

I would appreciate it if people could re-tweet the @coldcopy tweets for more exposure.

Yes You Can! Simply find a way to close the internet and you´re done :-)

btw, feel free to add http://www.google.com/ to the list of providers where you can find piracy content in massive amounts.

Bump for filelockers and CP in the news!

AdultKing 06-26-2012 05:55 PM

I have set up a backup site which can be located at http://hotcopy.com.au

The original site http://coldcopy.com.au remains the primary site.

AdultKing 06-27-2012 01:39 AM

I've redesigned the site http://coldcopy.com.au to make it a little easier to read and see screenshots.

Although I have started targeting Paypal it wont end there. I wont give too much away here as unfriendly people have been linking to these threads on other forums.

19teenporn 06-27-2012 02:55 AM

Use a sharing plugin in that site, and let's all in GFY recommend those posts in facebook, twitter, digg, etc, etc...

Will go viral like crazy!

There is a sharing plugin on the site. Google Plus, Twitter and Facebook.

There's also a Facebook page you can like from the site.

http://coldcopy.com.au is down due to a DDOS at the moment but the backup site http://hotcopy.com.au is up.

AdultKing. Are they looking to only terminate the ones with CP or are they willing to do the ones that are flat out pirates?

Both.

The very first step of the campaign is to raise awareness of the CP issue on file lockers and force Paypal to stop processing for them.

File lockers which reward uploaders and encourage the sharing of copyright material, illegal pornography and pirate software all need to be shut down and I believe it's possible to do.

As DWB has rightly pointed out, cut off the money and the incentive goes away.

But we need to take baby steps and target very specific issues one at a time. Raising public awareness of the scurge of these sites is the start.

I am totally committed to killing off file lockers that profit from illegally uploaded material and unlike torrents it's entirely possible to kill off file lockers.

However this has to be a shared effort.

pornguy 06-27-2012 06:23 AM

I sent a good number of DMCA's yesterday and most of the file lockers have Paypal on them. I would be happy to screen cap them and either hang onto them or send them to paypal. Just let me know how I can help.

My time is limited because I am actually really busy, but I would do what I can.

Thanks for the reply here.

AdultKing 06-27-2012 06:31 AM

Are those DMCA's in digital format ?

One think I thought of doing was to create a section on the website which categorizes DMCA notices and have them searchable.

I make them using a template in Word and email that way.

I can copy and past them anyplace any time. Or set them up some how.

Nautilus 06-27-2012 07:22 AM

I think DMCA archive is a bit premature idea at this point in time as people do not care about stolen porn or any other stolen content that much (if at all, the general crowd is feebie loving and pro-piracy). The best strategy for the moment IMHO will be as following:
  • Post shocking screenshots linking Paypal and VISA/MC to CP and other illegal shit such as necro, scat, bestiality etc, to grab people's attention.
  • Gradually introduce more screenshots featuring stolen porn, and attack Paypal mostly from the angle of not following their own TOS - kinda "paypal TOS says no porn is allowed, but see ppl, you can download hundreds of siterips from filehosts and paypal will allow you to pay for it. why? because this porn is different. it is stolen. if it is stolen it is OK for good dudes and dudettes at paypal". Those screenshots should feature some of the most content rich piracy sites we can find. It should be obvious that you can buy TONS of porn via paypal.
  • Providing zip archive for mirroring was a good idea - it doesn't matter that much that those mirror sites will not be updated frequently. They'll link to the main site anyway, and provide more exposure. The more eyes and links, the better.
  • Also providing quality RSS feed may help to spead the word further - there are lots of webmasters who'll be willing to add that RSS feed to their blogs, meaning more traffic and exposure. It'll also serve as yet another option to create mirror blogs.
  • Not all sites participating in the network should be 100% mirror of each other - if other ppl will join, they may repost articles from the main blog, and also add some of their own. There is so much material to post, it is enough and to spare to fill dozens of such blogs daily with unique posts.
  • I understand that 100 blogs you're talking about are necessary to provide stability of network against possible DDOS attacks and other hostile actions, but the downside of it is that a network of 100 identical blogs will look spammy. So if more ppl will join as bloggers to run at least partially unique blogs with different articles and screenshots, that will improve the overall image of our cause. That will also add legitimacy to it as it'll look as if lots of people are worried about what's going on, and not just one wierdo crusading. If those blogs will be crosslinked, it'll also provide more links for people to click and to read and to get familiar with the issue.
  • When everything is in place, we can start campaigning for backlinks from the community.

AdultKing 06-27-2012 07:31 AM

Great input. I agree a DMCA archive is premature, but could be considered longer term.

I'm going to set up a feedburner feed for the sites once I mitigate the current attacks.

I no longer think it's necessary to set up lots of blogs, I think the key is to work out a way to keep the sites up in the face of attacks, I am working on a solution now.

I also agree the focus should be on the shocking stuff, this is our best bet to cut off payment processing for file lockers. Without payment processing then the stolen porn problem will reduce of it's own accord. There will no longer be paid incentive to upload it.

Please keep the suggestions coming, I am working very hard on this and intend to keep this up until we make a massive impact on file lockers.

Anyone who wants to make suggestions to me via ICQ if you don't want them in the public domain then please feel free to contact me on 1905 1100. We have to remember the file locker community are monitoring GFY.

Someone could call Paypal, as a reporter referencing your page. Let them know you're working on an expose tying them the illegal Child Porn trade. See if that gets some wheels spinning.

When http://coldcopy.com.au comes back up I am going to post the email exchange between myself and a risk manager at Paypal.

They are currently hiding behind voicemail after promising to act, it's obvious there's alot of money at stake here.

pornguy 06-27-2012 08:18 AM

While I agree that its early in the game for an archive I think the sheer volume that each site gets hit with would be a shock as well.

I sent 28 to one site alone so I think the staggering numbers by people adding in info would have an effect.
