*** Samsung Galaxy S3 First Impressions ***

Just got this baby up & running 2-3 days ago, but fuck this is one nice phone.. I had the S2 before which is awesome, but the S3 is beyond awesome..

The first thing you notice is the new screen.. man that's insane.. it's so fucking clear that looking at real reality seems blurry in comparison :pimp

Next, the Android UI runs so fucking smooth on this thing.. I'd say it's the first phone ever to compete with the smoothness of the iOS UI

I think this is the size you can take a phone to before it gets ridiculous.. it still fits in your pocket, but it's taken to the very limit, I love it.. very nice to surf on..

So far it seems to be doing maybe 50% better than the one in the S2, but still a little too early to tell.. but defintly better from what I'm experiencing.

I want this phone badly, but I'm going to wait it out for December. I want to be sure they have fixed all the bugs and have upgraded it by then.

I wouldn't say "insane" in relation to the cheap PenTile technology. :2 cents:

I think they chose it because of its low power consumption.. no matter what, it looks amazing.

I do not get why people keep upgrading their phones so often, they can do everything they do with the old one just fine.. Its like addiction for some of them.. Oh the screen is better, oh the processor is faster etc etc.. lol

windows mobile on nokia lumia is smoother than both of those :)

Sounds great. In six months, when you buy the S4, I'll give you $40 for that S3. ;)

I wanted one of those sooo bad, but back in March, when the Razr Maxx came out, I got sick of waiting and jumped on one of them. I do love my Razr Maxx, at least I never have to worry about my phone dying in the middle of the day. It's funny how it's not standard to have bigger batteries on phones, they increase the size of the screen, but not the batteries that have to power them.

I know I'll probably kick myself in the ass when I finally do see the S3 in person :)

I thnk the razr is a great phone, but I dont play games on it, its for when I am away from my Motorola Xoom...I am just waiting on a motorola quad core tablet...the dual core razr is fast enough for me tho.

Yeah, I've been loving my Razr Maxx here and one great thing about Motorola is the fact that they've got great antenas. When I was looking at the Maxx, I told the guy I was considering waiting for the S3, but he pointed out the reception on the Razrs and then all the other phones in the store and they actually had full bars where some of the other phones, including the Galaxy Nexus, had lower bars, so in my more remote area where signal strength is key, I got the Razr and it's been a great phone, always got excellent reception.
