How about an Ehow article on how to breath?

My ex-girlfriend used to write for them.

Basically an editor creates a list of topics they would like to see. The writers then choose which topic they would like to write about. Do a little research. Write the article. Submit. It is then proofread. Then displayed.

So the articles are not from experts or even necessarily from someone with experience. But, that's what most writing usually is. ;-)
