I've been in this industry for about 20 years and seen all types. Usually I find those I originally thought were idiots turned out in real life pretty decent. Ignore board personalities and wait until you actually meet them - at the end of the day - it's not what they write but how they do business that sets them as credible or BS and that's all that matters
