Lighting Question - Kino Flo

Not new to pr0nz, newb to production. I purchased a Kino Flo Diva Lite 400.

It doesn't come with bulbs or a stand. Weighing in at 13 pounds its not light so my questions are the following:

What would you recommend for a stand? Is it to heavy for a C-Stand?

What temperature bulb would be best for indoor POV shooting?

Thanks GFY :321GFY

as long as you do manual white balance you can work with any temperature - i think

My primary cam can do this. The others are "strategically" :) placed GoPro Hero's which as I understand have very limited white balance abilities. Hence wanting to get as close to ideal out the gate.

PS - Thanks again for the awesome content and the great deal. :thumbsup

i see... and you're welcome :)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_temperature

according to this, natural sunlight has about 5800 K, so the 5500 K would be the closest to that

Everytime I've seen or used one, it's been on a C-Stand.

So something like http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Boom_and.html? Or overkill?

well, depends on what & how you are lighting...but with a boom you'll need sandbags, time, etc...pm

The Kino Flo kit that I rent comes with stands in the carrying case too.
