A friend of mine was at Wet Republic in Vegas and the Stanley Cup made an appearance...lol.

We just had a friend staying with us that worked for the Stars back when they won the Cup and he had some funny stories about what players did with their "day". (Serving spagetti from it, putting it on the bottom of the pool and swimming with it, etc.)

I had handled the cup about 7-8 years ago, when it was in for maintenance. The had to add some rings to the base, so they can fit more inscritions. I was dealing with the the silversmiths who were contracted to do the job and it happened to be there one day when I dropped by:thumbsup

haha i'm from dallas, huge stars fan. knew a couple people from the org too, there was this awesome story how the cup got a huge dent in it cause they were partying with pantera in the pool, half the team and them getting blown out. supposedly it was epic

pantera had written the song for the stars for when they started the game, also would play it around the radio as the playoffs went on. so when they won, they got to hang out with it
