What is the Point of Advertising ?
 

I have been buying gallery listings in a few places....Why to make money of course. However what is your thought on this gallery:

Now look there is NO blind links, No Pops, Not even a Free or Trail offer. The site the add links also has none of these things either.
You know I will have to come up with new pages now which means I just wasted the money having what I thought was some hot galleries made up.


But the add is to big.

isn't that the entire point of making galleries? To sell a membership somewhere? Did I miss that day in school?

As long as it isn't linked, it should have been fine. Right now it just looks like some form of interface, like all the other templates he lists.

Check out the galleries from Jumungus, same thing.

It's a bit big, especially because it's on top. Try making the gallery itself into an ad, not just putting up one big ad section and one thumb section. That will get you accepted, listed and most important: SALES

The ad isn't even linked - I don't see what the big deal is... :2 cents:

i often use half page ads as graphics for my galleries
and have np getting listed

This gallery has done very well for me.

However to mix things up I had the new galleries made by a different person. I still disagree with them for not running the add.

all I can say is there is NO FREE Porn...You have to Pay to get listed and then Pay to try and give the shit away.

Now you can see why I switched from posting galleries to graphic design :winkwink:

That gallery looks good to me, but GOD aka hun says no..

Fuck what the hun says and list it with every other big TGP.

It seems like the key is meeting the Hun's rules, which are not always spelled out.

Still, if it makes you a lot of money - it must be worth it, right?

Everybody is GOD on their own site.

I think for a free listing that is excessive but for a paid spot that looks pretty decent to me.

Maybe shrink down the ad a bit and overlap/place the movie thumbs on the left and the right of the ad, pop the text link above and below the whole thing and it'll almost fit on one screen (1024x768). Similar to the second gallery you posted here.
