Who is going to move in for the kill? Epoch, Segpay, Verotel or other?

It's always puzzled me that CCBill never seemed to understand just how much of their success is due to their affiliate system. Even now I would guess there are huge amounts of pay site owners who only process with CCBill because of the affiliate system. Without that they would have been gone long ago for a cheaper competitor with better throughput.

There are massive amounts, even after all these years with no real updates to their system.

They have this 'if its not broke don't fix it' attitude - That means no innovation.

Someone move in, there cant be a better time....

From a site owners standpoint, it's a very easy way to "run a business" with literally no work. You could just walk away and affiliates make their money and get paid while you are off doing who knows what.

We can all see that - So why have the other companies not moved in and played CCbill at that game?

I've been playing with Epochstats today and it is really great, for sponsors and affiliates.
Certainly pisses all over CCBill.
I'll be switching my affiliate program to it very soon.
I'm surprised more haven't already!

Probably nobody... it's pretty hard to move an established competitor. I just wish ccbill would speed up the loadtimes.

I have to admit I have not looked for a while....

Epoch has had affiliate stats for many years.

A short answer - But interesting.....

Epoch went with MPA for their stats... Worst thing they could have done... They had to rewrite code all over the place. Should have just written their own... Or make changes to the code they have to make it easier for an affiliate to get what they want out of it... Or contact NATS... see my sig!

V-Rocks - You have been spewing shit about MPA3 for years now, with no regard to what kind of damage you have caused. Not only for us, but also for the great companies that are using MPA3 for their affiliate programs. It is damaging, and without merit, and since I have been silent about speaking back to you about it - I will now, and whenever you spew out crap talk for the rest of your life on GFY, and other boards. The lies and random negative bullshit you say will not be tolerated - it will stop and we will defend ourselves from your negative and untrue piss. Now, to the FACTS about Epochstats Powered By MPA3 - It is a GREAT system that many affiliate programs and affiliates are using, and are very happy with! It was written specifically to FIT their IPSP platform and to conform to the strict rules and regulations an IPSP is under. It is not as simple as a single aff. program setup - it cannot be exactly the same, because of these different rules and regulations. Now, it can be said that their integration of MPA3 happened many years ago, and thus could be upgraded. That is their decision to make. It is super as it is.

If you look at other peoples? comments about the MPA3 powered Epochstats you will see that they are POSITIVE - Which is great!

Now, to the question asked by EddyTheDog - Time will tell

I was a bit tidily last last night so I might not have been clear - When I say 'integrated' I mean multiple sites/progs and one set of stats and one payment for affiliates.

I will log on to Epoch and see for myself when I can find my username/password, but for the benefit of the board is that what the Epoch/MPA3 is offering?

If it is then that would be a game changer.

Epoch / CCBILL good for us as well before now we move to NATS.

If you allready have a CCBill affiliate program in place, with Sliiing, you can just switch to any biller you want. CCBill do not have to be your main biller. Please note that we have an integrated cascade function.

Your affilites will not have to change any links at all. Sliiing is 100% compatible with your/their current CCBill links

With Epoch calling it "Epoch Stats" instead of something like "Epoch Stats - Powered by MPA3", most people have no idea they are using your system or that they even upgraded at all. Poor marketing on their behalf.

I've been talking to one or two of my affiliates today and it looks like completely ditching CCBill could be harder than I thought.
I currently offer NATS with CCBill paid program combo, which is great. But I also see really great potential for Epoch and their MPA3 Epochstats. However, it seems to me initially that many CCBill affiliates will be reluctant to change and can't see the potential offered elsewhere!
I may have a little dabble and offer both to test the water!

Probably not a bad idea. I can change all my links in about ten minutes but for many affiliates it would take them multiple days or even weeks and they would resent the wasted time for very little gain, if any at all. It might be best to just ask people to start using the new codes from now on if they can but not force them to just yet.

Both MPA and NATS have issues from the past. Even Epoch does.

Neither is better than the other.

If you use ourselves (MPA3) or nats or Epochstats powered by MPA3, or any upcoming "Powered by MPA3" backends, we can easily use our scripts (well, I can only talk on behalf of MPA3 of course) to ensure that ALL your affiliates links are 100% tracked once a move is made to MPA3 or our "Powered by MPA3" partners.

either way, maybe you should spend less time on using the search button to list peoples posting history and more time on developing your software....its no wonder you are second fiddle....

Just making sure people know who the people behind all the negative posts really are, lover.

We just changed from NATS to MPA3 and it was a welcome change by our affiliates and our staff. Not 1 of our reps would change back givin the option.

Keep in mind this is mostly due to the easy integration for stopping billing and managing members without having to login to billers interfaces. (using gateway not IPSP)

We will be doing a full review of MPA3 once we have finished our full integration but so far its much better for features. Support from MPA and NATS is outstanding

lord forbid somebody had a negative opinion about your product that was based soley upon their own experiences with it.

I disliked your product long before I ever went out to visit TMM for their conference...

unfortunately that seems to be an opinion you can't seem to handle well.
