to the old days when you could not have a post stay on the front page for more than an hour?

Signs of the times. Everybody moved on to McDonald's and Wendy's

I'd figure 95% are either enjoying their Manwin buyout, or working at McDonalds. The other 5% of us are still here.

This is what happens when you push out the affiliates and smaller sponsors. 80% of the people left will be large site owners, tubes, processors, and reps. And of the reps which remain many will play musical chairs every six months looking for a new job after their present employer lets them go until finally it is their turn to ass out for good. The only people I feel sorry for are the ones who spoke out or actually tried to do something about it. Everyone else is getting what they deserve. Nothing.

All new industries centralise. This was going to happen, just all the other problems made it happen faster.

Not many tears were shed when the Adult Internet all but killed magazines, devastated DVDs and made my trade a thing "anyone with a camera can do". So no tears from me.

Sounds hard to those now losing their income, look at the other side of the coin.

Other boards have been and gone since GFY started.

GFY will still be here in years to come. It might not be as busy, but it's obviously still got something since it's still very much active...

No doubt it's still very much alive, but man this board used to move at the speed of light.

Yup, but as everyone knows, many have left the industry since then. So it would be crazy to expect GFY to remain as it was. I still enjoy visiting the board daily, even though maybe there isn't as much going on. I still need my GFY fix! :pimp

The owner is very crafty, when he's away we see who the real posters are, I'm not complaining though, he does a great job!

it's sad and definitely a sign of the decline in the industry - so many people are gone.

Almost all internet cafes are gone which people used to come online and post on GFY.
