SOMEBODY has attacked or failed to protect us, and under current conditions (a looming war that more than half the world is against) theres no reason to think that they won't do it again.

All I'm saying is "Heads up" - I think the war is going to go down by this weekend, and when it does.. who knows wtf is going to happen domestically. I don't think we are looked at globally as the untouchable force that we were before 911... and keep in mind a lot of people have some very strong feelings regarding this war, both at home and abroad.

Even though the players are somewhat the same as the gulf war, It's just not the same environment as it was before. Far more people are "Tuned in" to this one... and most of them are saying "WTF?!".

Anyone know how do you say WTF?! in arabic?

All I know is that If they pull some terroist strike on US soil again, I would not want to be of the Middle Eastern race in the US. The shit will hit the fan and the US citizens will go nuts! And those people will be on the recieving end of it. You can just feel the tension building up!

Not sure on this, but I would think the muslims are probably a lot more united here than we might think. I know too many neighborhoods where people don't even know their NEIGHBORS.

But within a 20 mile radius I think I know of about 4 or 5 massive mosques -- like each as big as a walmart. If it came down to it, they would undoubtedly fight shoulder to shoulder.

Can you say that about all the people on your street or your neighborhood? Do you even KNOW your neighbors?

That's what bothers me.

US citizens are gonna take time out to ask questions. You saw this nation come together pretty good after last time. The US will rebel against anything over here.

Look at what heppened in New York. People basically ignore each other. However in time of crisis I believe Americans could be very united.
