pulp fiction GREAT
LOTR ok, but boring in some parts

LeeD 06-03-2012 10:01 AM

Only one of those I have seen is Pulp Fiction. Great movie, one of the few I have watched multiple times.

BIGTYMER 06-03-2012 10:10 AM

Clockwork Orange is wack.

Pulf Fiction is awesome.

How have you not seen the lord movies?

MrBottomTooth 06-03-2012 10:11 AM

All are good except twilight. That series is horrible.

Scott McD 06-03-2012 10:13 AM

Pulp Fiction is damn good.

Haven't seen any of the LOTR movies, and i don't intend on seeing them either...

MaDalton 06-03-2012 10:32 AM

Clockwork Orange is annoying and the Twilight stuff i would only watch if some chick is promising me a 2 hour lapdance while watching it

Clockwork Orange is a movie directed and produced by Stanley Kubrick.

You immediately can tell who doesn't know crap about films when they say that Clockwork Orange is shit. Everyone has different taste but if you're going to say that a classic is a terrible movie at least state WHY you think it's so bad.

Fris all of those except for the Twilight series (These are geared towards teen girls) are worth seeing depending on your mood and genre taste.

u-Bob 06-03-2012 01:22 PM

CO is one of those movies you must have seen at least once, but I can't say I enjoyed it.

LOTR is very decent. I liked the 2 first parts better than the last though.

Twilight is watchable under the right circumstances.

Pulp Fiction is.... a classic...

bronco67 06-03-2012 01:40 PM

They're classics, except for the Twilight movies.

For me, A Clockwork Orange was one of those movies you have to watch more than once before it completely absorbs you. After my first viewing, I was kind of like "whatever," but once I hit that second viewing, I was lost forever.

If you haven't seen it, or have only watched it once, check out it again, and...
Viddy well, little brother. Viddy well. :winkwink:

clockwork orange is great, pulp fiction too.

LOTR is a fantasy movie, a genre that doesn't appeal to me at all. I have watched maybe 20 minutes of some parts but it's just too chilidish, and pretty gay. Twilight is indeed for chicks, never seen it.

Near Dark is so fucking ftw.

Captain Kawaii 06-04-2012 02:59 AM

Pulp and Clockwork are classics rest are meh...whatever, kinda like lotr but twinklight is laughable.

- Jesus Christ - 06-04-2012 03:01 AM

I'mma let you finish, but eyes wide shut is one of the best movies of all time. One of the best movies of all time!

v4 media 06-04-2012 03:08 AM

LOTR films were o.k.
PF is great
CO havent seen it for years, but still remember it as a good film.
Twilight havent seen.

I've never seen ET, Blade Runner, Apocalypse Now and Titanic. Dont care about the first, middle 2 I need to watch someday, last one I avoided on purpose.

2MuchMark 06-04-2012 04:48 AM

Watch them all and decide for yourself.

Massimo 06-04-2012 05:01 AM

All films are OK except of Twilight. Well, you can watch twilight saga with your daughter of 10-14 yo, if you have one.

zerovic 06-04-2012 05:01 AM

go for pulp fiction

CaptainHowdy 06-04-2012 05:04 AM

Just remember that you're not obliged to like them...

EddyTheDog 06-04-2012 05:30 AM

CO - The best I can say is that it did not provoke the reaction in me that it does in others. This is what I posted when I saw it - https://gfy.com/showthread.php?t=1061603

I liked Pulp Fiction - Well worth watching...

LOTR - They are great when you have a boring Sunday afternoon to kill.

smutnut 06-04-2012 06:23 AM

pulp fiction is pretty good (Resevoir Dogs and True Romance are better though). Clockwork is probably the best Stanely Kubrick Film ever, arguably. The other two I can't get through no matter how hard I try (and I have), but (speaking of Twilight) I have finally gotten through the True Blood series and liked the first three seasons.

michael.kickass 06-04-2012 08:44 AM

pulp fiction and clockwork orange are classics.
TLOTR are cool but you may be disappointed if you have read the books.

Twilight is not good at all. IMHO

LAJ 06-04-2012 09:49 AM

Pulp Fiction and Clockwork Orange are both in my top 20 favorite all time movies.

2intense 06-04-2012 09:54 AM

Pulp Fiction is great.

When it came out my wife's brother had just died, and anything with needles freaked her out so she stormed out half way through because of one scene. I never got to see the ending until years later. Blew my mind.

Slew_ 06-04-2012 10:30 AM

First of all I don't believe you.

And the answer would be:

pulp fiction - fuck yeah
clockwork orange - fucked up fuck yeah
any of the lord of the rings - good but not that good as books, it lacks this and that but it's still nice to watch
any of the twilight films - fuck no

John-ACWM 06-05-2012 10:28 AM

First three are very good!

SykkBoy 06-05-2012 10:38 AM

Clockwork Orange is pretty much one of my favorite movies ever by one of my favorite directors.

Pulp Fiction was good, but not my favorite Tarrantino flick (that would be Inglourious Basterds)

The LOTR moves were good, but I've never re-watched them after watching them each once.

I've avoided the Twilght series completely.

OldJeff 06-05-2012 01:23 PM

Clockwork Love It
Pulp Fiction - Have seen at least a dozen times, and it never gets old
LOTR - HUGE Tolkien fan, probably as good as can be done bringing it to the screen, and Ican even forgive some of the changes to the story line (can't be too upset about seeing more of Liv Tyler)

Saw the first Twilight, and it was far too much, kept praying for Blade to show up

sperbonzo 06-05-2012 01:30 PM

Clockwork, great move, but not everybodies cup of tea
Pulp Fiction... Fantastic
Lord of the Rings, really really good
Twilight.... Awful. Avoid it.

Clockwork Orange

Saw Clockwork Orange 15 years ago at a revival house. I was probably the only person not in costume. Kind of spooky. Most of the audience wasn't even born when the movie first came out.
