Flash question
Does anyone know how to view the source of a flash script?
|
You can't.
|
damn -- thanks
|
hah, tryin to steal shit eh? theres plenty of fla's at flashkit.com
|
no, just trying to learn....as a static-oriented designer, I think stealing designs is about the worst thing a business man can do.
It's just that most ppl don't know how much it sucks when it's done to them. |
well, as a flash designer i can tell ya now... (perhaps you already know), but creating the "glitzy" impressive flash like 2advanced / neostream / etc... is 10% skill and 90% creativity. there isn't much skill involved with the usage of the program, all you have to do is know how to tween. 90% of all the cool flash ya see is composed of tweening which is real easy to learn how to do. and also, alot of people try to learn flash and think they'll get as good as a site like 2advanced, but its not even worth bothering with flash until you have good design skills, like in photoshop.
personally i start out with the basic idea in photoshop, and import the ideas / layout in flash and make it an exact clone, and animate it, add an intro, etc.. etc.. anyways, good luck. |
thanks for the info, man, but what the hell is a tween?
|
hahaha. a tween is what makes an object change different properties, ie location / color / opacity / hint, etc... read up on the tutorials that come with flash first, i know it sucks having to read the help file, but it'll help.

Do you think you could do me a favor real quick?
Would you go to the site: http://www.w3z.us/~kvazy/main.html and tell me if that onmouseover drop-down shopping cart near the menu is a beginner-oriented project? |
well, not necessarily a beginner project, but its not exactly difficult. all it is is a button, and on the mouse over instance it has a movie, and the animation within the movie is what you see when you hover over it. i'd recommend first learning how to tween first which is the very basics of flash. and then buttons / movie clips, then u can do somethin like that
|
thanks man
