Paxum HELP!! Anyone experienced this before??
I'm having some Paxum problems and I need help, anyone ever experienced this:
I tried to login to my Paxum account. After I put my user/pass and hit login I got redirected to a page saying "For security reasons you must change your password periodically" Fine, I changed the password. Now this is where my problem began: to confirm the change of password, I must enter an authorization key, sent to my e-mail. The problem is: I don't have access to the e-mail I used when I signed up anymore!! So now I can't login to Paxum using my old password, nor my new password. I can't login unless I put in an authorization key that was never sent to me! Anyone ever had this problem before?? How can I solve this problem?? :helpme :( |
I have done that. The only thing you can do is to retrieve those emails that you used to sign up!

yep i have had to do this twice before its a pain

I know both passwords, old and new, I should be able to login just fine. This is fucked up. |
I know that Paxum's official channel of communication is the ticketing system: but I simply can't access it because I can't login anymore. Fuck me!
|
why would you use an email address for something that important where you are not even sure if you can access it later?

I was never forced to change my password and confirm the change by e-mail before. Never, ever: be it with affiliate programs or payment solution sites. |
|
That is pretty stupid of you.

My e-mail was changed on the account last year, but guess what? When it's time to reset the password, the key is sent to the e-mail used to CREATE THE ACCOUNT, and not the current e-mail!! Pretty smart, huh? |
Quote:
The email password reset authorization key is always sent to the LOGIN email address for any Paxum account, which is not necessarily the PRIMARY Email on the account, and is not always the email address used to register the account if a login email change has been completed. The LOGIN email is the email address you enter into the Paxum login page any time you login to your Paxum account. What has happened in your case is that you added a new email address and changed it to your primary email address, however a request for your login email to be changed to your new email address was never received by our support department. Therefore your login email was never changed. This can be easily fixed though. You have received a reply to the support ticket you opened today regarding this matter. Please follow the instructions contained there. Our support department will directly assist you to reset your password and change your login email so that future notifications will be received. Thanks, Ruth :) |
