Paxum Payment Email Notifications - Your Input Requested!
When you receive a payment to your Paxum Ewallet Checking Account, you have the option to receive an email notification informing you of the transaction.
At the moment, all email notifications regarding payments are delivered with a subject line that states: paxum.com: [email protected] has sent you money! where [email protected] would be the email address of the person who sent you funds. When you receive payments from business accounts you see a notice such as this, that includes the name of the business that sent you funds: paxum.com: [email protected] Joe Blow Inc has sent you money We are considering making a change to these notifications, and since it directly affects your user experience, we want to hear feedback from you, our valued customers! Here's what we want to know... Do you want to see the $ amount that has been sent to you in the subject title of your received email notification? ie: paxum.com: [email protected] Joe Blow Inc has sent you $365.47 Please vote in the poll in the this thread to share your opinion, and feel free to share your comments and suggestions below as well. |

I don't really care. I guess it would be nice to see it in the title but its not really that hard to open the email to see how much they send you.

I thought it already said how much, but voted anyway :)
|
I voted yes.
Maybe you could make it optional? that way everybody's happy :) |
i like to see how much the payment is, so i dont have to login to my account ...
|
What I would change in PAXUM, is to display a message after we do a transfer.
Every time I do a transfer, after the transfer is done, I can't see any message, it just displays the same screen, like nothing was done, or like we need to do all again. I need to go to my account, and check the checking account to see if the transfer was done. A success message or something saying that I sent "X" money to "X" recipient would be the best. |

I can see why you would want to see it or even that you don't care - I don't see why people would vote no though.
Why would you not want to see it - Do you enjoy the suspense? |
Yes! Show Me The Money!!

More work but best option for customers would be to make it optional in settings.
Also how about allow receiving payments directly to card, instead of "checking" account. |

This should be the next poll, Ruth! :D |
Thanks for your feedback everyone! :thumbsup
Having the feature optional would obviously be the best option for everyone, but that does require a lot more programming effort/time than a simple switch. It looks like the majority here would be interested in seeing the $$ amount in the subject line itself. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts with us! We appreciate it :) |

While you've got the boss's son's friend from school in doing your IT for the week, please have him do a few things that aren't so cosmetic and actually make a difference to the user experience: 1) Make your support ticket emails replyable and viewable from a link containing a token instead of login 2) Change your 'contact us' form so that if your non-refreshable captcha is entered wrong all the fields (and the effort of writing a possibly lengthy body of text) are not cleared 3) Write some kind of database monitor so your staff know when the whole thing is taking a shit instead of looking at your customers like they are the problem. Thanks |
The way you currently do it is just fine.
