Me and Wordpress themes....HELP!

I have tried like 5 different WP themes, and I always encounter a problem that I cannot solve.....

This time, everything works....BUT the freaking new menus do not want to show up and gives me this ''error'' message:

Go to Adminpanel > Appearance > Menus to create your menu. You should have WP 3.0+ version for custom menus to work

I see that many other blogs using WP have the same problem.... ex:

http://shaqmughal.com/

http://www.curvaslivres.com/

I have WP 3.0+ version, and menu added........... :disgust

Can you help?

once you create it you need to assign a menu on the left to the one you made.

Sorry for being an old dumb ass, what do you mean to ''assign on the left''?

Thanks fris! :)

There's a little dropdown thing on the left which allows you to choose the menu you have created and use it on the theme.

It also wouldn't hurt to check that the theme you want to use supports custom menus.

Check http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide
http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_...ce/wp_nav_menu
