What do you use for a mouse or trackball etc? What mouse do you recommend?

Anyone have suggestions for a good mouse? I like 'em large & preferably cordless. I keep buying Logitech, but I am sick of them breaking. My mice always seem to lose tracking after a while. I am not totally opposed to going over to tablet pen or trackball, if someone has a good suggestion.

What do you use for a mouse?

What would you prefer to use, if you could use any mouse or mouselike tool?

Learn how to take it apart and blast some compressed air through it, magically they work again

You'll hate this suggestion but I'll say it anyway. Get a Mac, and use the Mac Mouse or the Mac Trackpad. The Mac Mouse is a no-button mouse with a multi-touch sensitive surface like an iPhone. After a little getting used-to, you can fly zing zoom swipe pinch your way through browsing, photoshop and video editing faster than a traditional mouse. Even cooler is that all of the gestures are somehow exactly what you expect so learning everything is a snap.

Both are wireless too.

My only complaint about the mac mouse is that its too small for my giant hands. I wish they made a bigger version.

I'm using that mouse, right now for my Macbook Pro. I love these mice because they are great for everything from photoshop to Warcraft. I am loyal to this mouse!

I've used the same large thumb operated trackball for many years and it's never broken. It only needs a ten seconds cleaning every so often. I like it because there's no wrist motion.

I've been a Linux user for over a decade and I'm no fan of Microsoft, but this Microsoft branded trackball is certainly my favorite. I don't like the trackballs that are finger operated because pulling my fingers back means my wrist comes up. My wrist gets sore from any repetitive motion.

BTW with trackballs cordless isn't needed since they don't move. On a desktop anyway, the only thing different about cordless for a trackball is the need for batteries.

I had a old trackman fx that worked great for 7 years or so until it finally packed it in.The newer logitech trackballs always lose connection so I have another laser mouse hooked up.Their air mouse is cool though.it's sad when you need 3 mice in case one decides it doesn't want to work

Love my Razor mouse, it's intended for gaming I think. It has so much more precision and speed over a normal mouse, and it's lasted about 5 years so far without a problem :thumbsup
