Well we built MultiBill.com as a response to the new Visa regs which came out in November 2002, and we have so far successfully adapted it for use on our sponsor program http://www.HardProfits.com/.

We then realized that we still had a lot more work to do on MultiBill b4 we could properly launch it into the world. We could sell our software, but in my belief, I would be taking money in bad faith as I know things are due to change and may require strong rethinking of our billing options on all our parts.

Then came a startling realization!!! Cross border acquisition regulations and the new Verified by Visa system have made me decide to put MultiBill on hold until at least April 2003.

That said, my biggest problem right now is the addition of my own merchant account to both my own sites (which I now have over 300 of) and MultiBill itself. Current negotiations seem to be falling flat for a myriad of reasons including:

1) I am not a US citizen, so getting a US merchant account is almost impossible (and I stress almost, as I haven?t given up yet)

2) All my urls (over 400 of them) are registered with Visa USA, which means I cant get a merchant account in say Germany, as this would breach the cross border rules of Visa USA

So where too now you ask???

My advice, make what you have work until April 2003 and lets together see what Visa USA springs on us.
